Does killing 100 little hobs get you a better pickaxe for mining?

nope, I probably killed over a 1,000 doing quest and my mining is the exact same as it has always been.

hee hee someone pulled a joke on you, but there is actually a way to increase your mining speed. The Fiesta Store sells an item called King's Touch it will reduce the time it takes to harvest herbs, chop wood, mine ores and open treasures chests by half for a limited time duration.

what furastrates me is the bar that pops up when u collect. No matter what time or where u click it, the harvesting time is the same, is it a glitch?

Yes, the bar is bugged.

I dont think its a glitch, you have to click on the yellow line, when the moving bar gets EXACTLY on top of it, (emphasis on exactly), if you do this correctly, the yellow line will glow, and you will gather quicker, i do it, and it always works for me

I agree on that and I also realized, but don't take that for granted, that when you manage to click exactly on the yellow line there are more drops or better quality drop but maybe it,s only pure chance.

It's not a glitch. It's simply luck. When the 7 sec passed, the line is near the yellow bar, you will get better stuff.

Same here, I've been doing Gold Hill on my alt and the bar is definitely not bugged.

I can confirm it's NOT a glitch. Some noob was arguing with me for like a half hour saying it didn't do anything, meanwhile I was harvesting 3 nodes in the time it took them to do 1. I usually hit the bar about 50% of the time, sometimes on the first or second pass. It lets me gather 150 LQ copper ores in less than 20 minutes, people just need to learn better timing.
