View Full Version : What can be done about KSING major mobs?

I was with a group of 5 today, and we were trying to kill Mara to finish the "Mara Pirate Avengers 3" quest, but he players "samuray" and "Lumos" kept KSING mara and would not allow us to finish the quest. We asked them to leave, but they would not. This is really frusterating on a mob that spawns so slowly, and you get the kill stolen from you 4 times in a row. We will keep trying to kill her a few times, but they are still trying to KS from us while I am writing this.

GMs, is there anything you can do about this?

Personally I think monsters should be bound to the first person to hit them or a party that attacks them first.

That would fix the problem, and once that player/party leaves the area on the monster it becomes open again to all players. But I like my way better, perm banning people that KS, but thats just me ;)

I agree wholeheartely that something needs to be done. Last night I teames up with a friend and her party to help them with Mara. They were all 17-19, me level 24... I wasted a good half hour getting KS'd 5 times...as soon as I'd attack, people would wait and let me take damage, get her HP down THEN attack. Finally we managed to get the quest credit for them on the 6th try.
