Hey has anyone tried to fight the ghost inside Echo Cave? The thing does like 734 damage and I'm wondering if it drops a pet or something?

The inclusion of the Archmage Book in the same general area as the other weak mobs in Echo Cave is somewhat of a mystery to me too, seeing as the spots you find the books in do not even contain any better ore than the spots with easy enemies.

I fought and defeated many of the books with the help of scrolls when I was level 20 with my mage, and no, they do not drop anything significantly greater than the other normal monsters.

I believe it's also level thirty.
And I think all monsters can drop pets. It's just nearly impossible to find one. xD

They are just there to block the way. There are many ways to get in to and out of the cave,they are just an easy way of keeping lower levels in the places they should be and not lost in an upper level zone.

monters dont drop pets unless a event is going on.
