my friend recently hit level 20 and he wants to know how to get a "wizmage" title

He will get that title when he is doing the quest that make him a wiz mage. :]

You have to go to the grand master in the forest of mist to start the quest, bring lots of HP/SP potions.

the little duck that appears when you level should tell him who he needs to speak with. However GrandMaster Sean (I think) is in the forest of mist near the temporary merchants. You should see him on the map once you are nearby. Like galihad said take PLENTY of hp/sp potions also Buy all the scrolls that you can and use them before entering the quest. After talking to GrandMaster you have to find the key. Supposedly any monster will drop it but Most seem to have luck with the ratman dropping it. Hope this helps.

However, Grandmaster in the Forest of Mist is the SECOND char you go to. You begin the quest at your quildmaster in Eldrine.

Oh, and unless this has changed since CB2, the title is available upon reaching level 20.
