I was woundering what and how are the licenses used. Ive purchased a few weps. that have a few things about them , dunno wht or how its done...thx in advance.

ok so what do I do with my MARA license once i have it...
do I keep it in inventory.? Or do I apply it somewhere?

You register titles at the Title NPC( one in each Roumen and Elderine)

Titles are registered to weapons. They give a damage bonus stating at 15% to that type of mob. I.E. a Mara elite license gives a bonus to Mara elites( only). As you kill more of that type of mob the licensed weapon levels up. giving 5% more damage per level, until it tops out at 30% bonus damage. Most weapons can have up to 3 license registered on it( Later weapons may or may not have more). You also recieve a title for the rank of the weapon while it is equipped. That is why you see "Ratman Killer", Boogy Dominator" etc. titles.

I'm thinking that I read somewhere or was told that once you register the licence to your weapon, its only for you... like if you sell the weapon the bonus does apply for the buyer. Anyone know about that or can clarify?

I always thought it applies for the owner of the weapon... but I'm not so sure.

Liscences are tied to the weapon, not the owner. If you sell it, it will still have the same liscences attatched. As you progress in the game, liscences will be more worthwhile in pursuing, as any liscence that reaches an extra 40% damage will start to gain crit bonuses to your weapon. How high extra damage goes on the liscence is determined by the level of the monster that it applies to. I believe that the first liscences to have extra 40% damage are the monsters in burning hill.
