You can view the possible hairsyles and faces if you talk to Vietree. The actual Beauty Shop Coupon you can purchase with SparkCash (real money). Without you have unfortunately no options besides the ones you have when you make you character.

No you just need one coupon for that session if you choose to accept the look you end up wanting.

And while it does cost RL money, it's not that much, and if you can get your virtual self to look exactly the way you want, it's worth every cent. I went with a premium coupon so I could get a Deep Red 'do, and darned if that doesn't look MUCH better than the powder blue I started with.

You can go in and toy around with looks without a coupon, but you won't be able to leave with the new look. One other quirk--after you leave the shop, purchase or not, you'll be sent back to the Character Select screen.
