I personally love the outspark games :D
I love the way they reflect the real life olympics, and how most of them arn't too laggy ^^
It's pretty easy to sign up and you can complete against your friends, you also can win cool medals :D
So I give a big thumbs up for the person(s) who created it (^.~)b

I love it! I was talking to a guild mate while we were doing the relay race thing and we both admitted how we were both shaking with nervousness in real life =D
It's tons of fun for me so far xD

I thought they were IMMENSELY boring.
I didnt even know what the heck they were about
"Outspark games will begin in 15 min"
.
.
Ok.. thats fine and dandy.. but what the HECK are they? What happens? What will be going on? etc etc. So many of these new events now dont tell you whats going on. Half the time I just look up "Outspark Games will begin in 10 min" Oh yay.. Another event I know nothing about.. Ok.. back to grinding!

If I knew more about what the events are doing/going to be about, I would at least think about going to them.

I am sorry you feel that way, originally to participate in the Olympics events you have to go to the "Calendar" section on the forums on the upper left side of your screen, when you click on it you will see all the GM sponsored events weeks ahead of time. Usually you have to sign up at least a day ahead of time via the RSVP system but since that is buggy at the moment, the GM's have to spend the extra time and effort signing up people who are interested in joining either by reading the Calendar or happen to pass by at the last minute. I know it is very troublesome for them to sign up participants at an event in person because they have to waste extra time writing the participants down while being constantly spammed for help, power level, etc. Even when I volunteered to answer some questions on the event as an unofficial player helper, I get overwhelmed by different people asking me basically the same questions over and over lol, the curse of being a World DJ I guess.

Okies now to the good part on the Olympic events, I love how they vary the different types of events for people with different interests. First Roumen Wrestling is set up as a free for all tag team royal rumble player versus player event for the more accomplished players in different level classes of 50-59, 60-69, and 70-79. The fighting is so fierce that it have been known to last literally one hour and is perfect for those players that feels they must pwn someone to happy. Second the relay race is a 4 men baton passing event where you are not allowed to use any movers or speed buffs for those who enjoy more the joy and excitement of working with your team to pass the batons quickly between each member why dashing ahead of your competition through the finish line. This event is perfect for all levels of players since the only thing you need to know is how to run and trade quickly between each member (for the relay race it is always good to find an alternate in case someone can not make it, and trust me in all my 3 races I am always missing someone lol). Third the level to 6th event is a good event for both newbies and veterans as they are requires to make a new character where no cash shop items, item/spell buffs, enhanced weapons, new skill scrolls are allowed which boils down to how quickly can you level in an hour, this event is perfect for those which likes to level super quick. Finally, the playtime endurance event does not require any sign ups, the winner is simply determined on who have the longest log in time for a set period of time. The usual only required to be good at this event is someone with no life and love fiesta so much they can stay playing for days at a time without logging off.
In conclusion, the first Fiesta Olympics used their in game staff to provided an variety of different events with different goals to winning besides the usual hack and slash of a monster mob for a prize drop that is so prevalent in other online games.

Only events I've actually participated in so far are the Endurance and Tour de Fiesta events for Fiesta and the Race for the Gold event in Project Powder. My new graphics card came in today so before today, my computer lagged immensely due to a bad graphics card so I was too slow to participate. However, gratz to those who did and won!

I know perfectly well how to check the calender, and rsvp the event.
My point being, I wasnt sure if the event was WORTH going to.
Its like when they announced Toure De Fiesta evens in Uru. Almost everyone was like "wth? what is this event ABOUT?". Luckily a few of us (myself included) had quite a bit of sense to figure it was probably gms showing lower lvls around, with the help of high lvls or something (i unno, spawn stuff, like I knew).

My POINT not being that its hard to find event sin the calender, but its hard to find a good DESCRIPTION of what the event will be doing.
It'a'd been nice if they like.. posted some huge thread for that, with what theyre gonna do in it, prizes, whats goin on, where, etc.

I just.. lose all motivation to even try to go to a "new" event when I know nothing at all about it.
