Yaa about refining weapons

Did I miss something about refining my sword, because I can't seem to get it pass level 3 or 4 without the refining failing or destroying my weapon. I can't use the Lix's I have yet and it is drving me crazy with the level limit I am getting on my sword

Refining is based on luck. You need to have it land on the square on the opposite side of your elrue in order for it to be refined to a higher level. Most of the time you'll fail or destroy your weapon, so don't attempt it if you lack the money or the resources to do so. Many people have gotten extremely angry and frustrated for losing their weapons after +5 or even +6. And if you do try and refine your sword, just remember to have patience. Most of the time you'll end up failing, but you might succeed.

oh so it has to be the opposite side of the Elrue? I only did this once and my mace got +2 xD
