I ask the question are full END builds really that bad at soloing, because I'm a full END and I really don't want to go KQ all the time to be effective...

full end will always suc...
it gives u a tiny extra hp (when u have lots)
a tiny extra block rate if u use a shield (1h + shield = crapy dmg)
and a tiny reduced dmg (when u are alredy the job with the highest def, and just using end +0 stuffs a fighter enough good)

it only wirth if you are a fighter just for tank mobs and bosses all the time and not pvp or kill by yourself

Err... It's a great solo build, but what are you looking for in it is the real question. If you just want to mob a lot and being able to tank it all then sure the build is perfect for you. But if you want to mob a lot and deal great amounts of dmg that's not going to happen even for a +9 axe, because pure STR users will still pwn your dmg as a END. Trust me I'm a DEX user I know what it feels like to be weak dmg and grind slow, but I've grown getting use to it. Remember that your build is SURVIVAL, not DMG. Overrall pure END is a perfect solo. The rest lies in your skills and game-play.

The thing is, while you do kill one mob at a time slowly, you can solo aoe without breaking a sweat on often higher level mobs. Right now I'm lvl 48 and since lvl 45 I've been solo aoeing harkans. I don't even have to use potions. And if I could, I would grab more, but there is no better spot then riding up and down the hill in scaffold (so let's say I grab 8-15 at a time hopefully).

I have more HP than some lvl 60's and that's not a joke, but I also have all really good greens with +END on them. I'm betting that by lvl 55 I'll be solo aoeing blue clover trumpies in just the same manner...

You can't solo with a full end build unless you have +9 weap and good armor.

At the moment i am full end and i really like it.... I go to abyss and get the full room on me and watch them hit 15s-20s.... I can dev them all down and if you got a mage and a cleric your team is awsome for grinding.... Also Blitzscythe.... I dont got +9 armor only +9 wep and sheild and it works out ok

Dont forget empower skill placements are very important too. If your a full End fighter, then u want to think about empowering certain skills with max dmg (ex. power hit). If u want to kill faster get u an axe (+9 preferably) and you can still solo well! End armor and rings would be great too.

In all, I've done ~8-10 KQs. I'm full END, and I do just fine soloing, though I use a +9 1h and shield. My damage isn't that great, but you can easily solo a whole room in abyss. The extra END can be copied with high END gears, but those who are full END have the same access to that gear, so people with full END could still have higher HP.

.............. Well, Pure END is not as efficient for soloing as a DD build, but, due to all of your attack skills you can do just fine. Though an axe is recommended for soloing. I think that the best thing is to carry both a 1hand/shield and an axe, and switch between the two as the situation demands.

Pure END builds are slow to start, but after Lv 50 they begin to really come into their own. With the tremendous amount of damage that mobs are capable of inflicting at the higher levels, pure END can be very effe

Hmm I'm lvl 71, and i have....around 85 stat points. If all of that went into end it would be roughly 425 extra hp, and an extra 170 def. Now this can also be added onto with high end gears and scrolls. I'd say it makes a difference.

In the end pure 'end' is the best build for fighters. Most might say "well that's just you're personal opinion" but quite frankly its true. I'm currently a level 60 pure 'end' fighter and I haven't regreted it one bit. Extra defence, block rate and hp is worth having even though you're giving up some extra damage. End>Str.

Well.... When I had my sword and shield with all my armor with END 30+ and being pure END I had 4000 Basic HP.

My DMg was good with my +9 sword and I soloed anything easy.

ITs my favorite build by far and Ive tried going STR.

Note: A tiny bit of HP increase? O.o 1000 HP is a little more than a tiny bit, most higher level fighters have 3000k, I saw one with 2750.

Actually, you get 5 extra points of hp for every point of free stat END. That means that by level 89 (current cap) a full END fighter will have 510 extra points of hp just from their free stats. I don't know about the block rate and the extra def gained but I know a pure END build is worth it.

Full END with a Defense Scroll are quite unstoppable XD

Maybe we are not that good in a PvP, but soloing (with scrolls and a buff, preferably) we are freaking good.

I always do that, and maybe I don't lvl up that fast as other fighter with different build, but is enough for me, I'm happy with that, and with my build.

Oh, also, we are always necesary in a KQ...always, or to kill a Boss...

...............all I can say is wow. Whoever says full end sucks at soloing is WAY off. I have been full end from the beginning.

I have soloed 80% of my lvls. I have also went into pvp over and over killing people my own level. I have no str on my gear either.

I didn't use a +9 till 70's. I didn't even have a green till 79, yeah thats right after capping.

For those saying full end suck......all Im gonna say is your WRONG!!!!!

Eh well Im done....to tired to say more....have a good one.
