Thinking of quitting...

Im seriously thinking of quitting Fiesta over one simple reason. I love the community, the game is great, the people are awesome, but the few people that arent ruin the whole experience.

Im a lvl 76 Fighter, I work and Grind all the time to make money and I just recently got all +9 armor. I have a +9 Axe and I feel pretty tough :P

But the second you step into PvP and someone with extenders, a crit suit, DMG increase, etc. Kills you, the good feelings gone -.-

Then they rub it in your face like there better than you cause they have money to use, not waste cause I would if I could.

I just wish someone would stand up and admit that they wouldnt be where they are if they didnt have sparkcash, you know, an open confession to those who arent privaliged enough to get it for whatever reason.

Guess even in games you cant get anywhere without money, such a waste.

The best thing I think to do is just ignore these people. I am sure there are the people who don't use enhanced gear at all who feel the same way you do when they see you with your +9 set, so don't be so quick to judge.

If they talk down to you just because they beat you in PVP, they aren't worth fighting, just go find some people who like to PVP for the pure satisfaction of playing the game.

ill admit it , my mage is USELESS without the Critical bathing suit and winter hat, without high crit i wouldn't be critting 1ks so often which = loss

I don't use extenders , and i've never bought a tough cookie pack , but i am accused of cookieing , but im pure int with Pure INT gear if not Max int, im lvl 50 stacked with close to 400 int without the stat points into it. But i admit without my critical spark cash items , i would die in most pvp cases due to the fact if a fighter stuns me im dead , so its my duty to 2 hit them before they can.

I see no point of wasting extenders and those other buff cs items for pvp :P To me its a complete waste of muny O_o

I understand what you mean about the +9 gear I have, But I worked hard making money to buy that. Everyone who buys there own stuff +9 or anyone who has done it with CS items are seen as equals, and in a game since they are but they didnt have to wkr nearly as hard to do it.

If you work to get your stuff by PLAYING THE GAME it doesnt matter to people but if you us cs iems you don't really have much of a pl,ace to gloat all you're saying is "Haha, I spent 20$ so I can kill you and you spent 0$ to die" I only buy cs sets cuz they awsome :)

Uh. I don't know you/ you don't know me. But you really shouldn't quit. You spent the in-game time to either get your items up to [+9] from enhancing, which should let you feel self accomplishment, i do from being level 20 with full [+3] clothes and a [+7] staff that were self made, or you spent the time to get the money to buy them... i dont know what you chose to do but either way... its better then being the rich kid that begs his parents to spend money on him for stuff on a game...

Yeah. I'm glad to be able to spread my knowledge after only a week of playing. I was kind of forced to quit. My computer just can't handle Fiesta at the moment.

I think we need a petition to void the costumes crits/the hp boosts, etc etc in pvp because really, pvp is fun in this game, or at least was when I last played it in August...its completely unfair to others who
1. Do not have a way to get SC
2. Just dont want to spend money on this game.

Yes, people who spend money in SC expect something, but I see that Hunters War Rant, Hp/SP Extender, should only be left for monsters, giving them an edge on them only.

But this is a business, and to make costumes more inticing, they slap on the crit.I doubt anything will change, but I would be glad to help out a cause. I buy SC, not to kill another, but cause I enjoy the game and would like to further it.

(also because I hated seeing my clone every two steps)

I use as much cs items as are available to me and that is because I am a whimp :P I dont use it to pvp but to withstand as much damage as I can from mobs. IF people using cs gloat about their abilities in pvp while stacked with cs items they arent worth your time. You stay proud of who you are and what you have achieved and laugh at them for not having the belief in themselves to pvp without the cs items.

The point of SC gear is to have an advantage over non-SC users. Wouldn't that take away the point? And even then they could still +9 all their normal gear and fight with them.

Yeah I think it should give a little edge, but not in pvp, pvp should be strictly skill based, everyone on the same playing field, not about whos bought more SC pots to live longer or whatnot. Blue Mile Red Eye I find completely fair because it gives a better chance of getting something a free person can also do, just with less effort. Sure they make some people completely overpowered, but free people can use, buy, somehow acquire the weapons/armors too. But no free person can get a costume and be on the same playing field as the SC user.

My question is, is this a strategy based game?

I mean, most of pvp's tactics are to either gang up on someone or hit and run (for mages and archers).

Yes but each one of those things can be countered, youre going into a pvp area, of course its going to be dangerous, but it shouldnt be run by CS users who, even if theyre an exact same build as you, have the exact same armor as you on, and the same empowered skills, but is a few levels lower than you, you should win right? Sure it could be based on luck then, maybe that person gets crits abnormally well, but with CS it completely unbalances things and you get wasted in no time flat.

I hate overpowered, high lvl fighters who like guard the pvp so you just get completely obliterated in 2 secs. xD Some people choose to just hangout punching friends but those fighters always ruin the fun :((((

Or maybe they could have seperate PvP feilds. One for SC only, one for SC and Free players, and one for Free players only. Alos I think that the SC players should be allowed in the Free arena but, their SC bonuses are stripped only durring the PvP

SC Users should be stripped of their SC bonuses when entering PvP or during a PvP with another player. I wouldnt know how Guild Wars would be slung into this cause then it makes the whole thing a lot more frustrating. But I still believe, voiding the bonuses!

You know, I like all your ideas. Wow, never thought of limiting SC in PvP, or nulifying all SC bonuses while in PvP.

PvP Should be based on player abilities, even the worst player can fight anyone there level in PvP with SC even if there not as skilled. Doesnt seem fair that a really good player cant take on a Player not as skilled cause hes got the cash to buy something.

I do think however CS items are good while fighting creatures. That seems fair. And I do know that without SC users we wouldnt have +9's like we do today.

Those items in PvP is a huge unbalence to the game and doesnt seem fair that a player is measured by the sixe of there wallet and not skill or waht they can accomplish on ther own in game.

No point if you work your but off just to be beat out by someone who never trys, gets power leveled, doesnt understand the first thing about the game, and uses CS items thinking there someone.

Silence. I think you're really forgetting something. This game isn't only about PvP. You've got the quests, KQ's, [GM] events, grinding, and just general hanging out with friends. I think you need to move on to something else besides PvP for a while. Besides, even if some the ideas posted here to get taken into consideration by OutSpark staff, it's going to take time before something as big as this can happen.

Yeah. I'm on Epith. It seemed the least popular, and having no experience on this game I didn't wanna be with a lot of people.

There's nothing really wrong with my comp. Its just I share it with my 4 sisters and am not supposed to mess with their files. Its a great comp, just not for sharing.

(Oooo I just got a new idea, SC item {even though you hate them} but it lets you change your server on a character. That way you don't have to start all over if you wanna get away from something on your server)
