Whenever I try going through the gate my computer freezes, I have to improperly shut it down. I logged in on my laptop and I was able to get in just fine. I switched back to my other computer and tried to login and it just froze on me.

Anyone know what could be the cause of why being on that field completely freezes my computer?

Are all other fields fine?

Can you post your system specs please?

It's possible (But unlikely) that you're missing some file in that field, However it could also just be that you're lacking RAM or something.

All the other fields I've gone to have been fine.

OS: Windows XP Pro, Service Pack 3
CPU: Intel Pentium 4, 2.93 GHz
MOBO: Asus PTGD1-LA
RAM: 512 MB DDR
HDD: 150 GB Samsung SP1614C
VID: Intel(R) 82915G/GV/910GL Express Chipset Family

the problem seems to me to be your RAM, i had problems with fiesta with only 512MB of DDR II , so i stopped playing. i installed COD4 on my comp and it ran slowly, so i bough more RAM and i upgraded to 2G of it. i tried fiest then and it worked PERFECT. try troubleshooting some more and if it still doesnt work i would consider buying more ram ^^

With 512MB of RAM, you should still work fine except loading players in a crowded place. If entering only a certain map freezes you, I highly doubt your system is of any problem. It may be a missing map file as what sirviney has mentioned. Have you tried re-installing the client? That might help...

It's not the RAM... If that were the case Elderine wouldn't load and other heavily populated areas would also create the same problem.

I would just reinstall it and see if that handles it.
