What's My Purpose?

I just recently joined Fiesta, and was wondering what the rolethe Archer is delegated in a party. Obviously the Mage is the damage dealer, but I am accustomed to having Mages be nukers/bursters, whereas the Archer is more of a constant DPS class. Does this hold true in Fiesta? Thanks in advance!

Yes, that holds true still. Archers also have the bleed/poison shots which help out with the added damage. We're also needed to lure monsters away from big mobs (ie. Mara's KQ) so that the Fighters and cast aggro on them.
