Yeah, I generally check Forums first for updates when I'm not actively playing a game; to get an idea on what all is going on. Curiosly, if you know, is this an actual partnership or is this just an advertising event set for a period of time? Reason I ask is in the URL it is actually in the /events/ directory.

Hey folks,

The Outspark stuff you see on Yahoo should be there for some time <crosses fingers>. We're working closely with them to bring our games to their community, so make sure to be on your best behavior with these new users. We know you veterans will give them a nice welcome :D

Thanks for the reply Biski, that is what I was thinking from the look of the page, but the directory threw a curve ball into the whole thing. Joining the Y! Community is a very big deal, but I'm still amazed there hasn't been a lot of attention from other communities regarding this; nothing on MMORPG.com or other sites of the like. I know this isn't a buyout or anything but still becoming partner to a major site like Y! is kind of a big deal.

Great now I'm going to have to worry about spyware from fiesta. Yahoo is a shady company and outspark seems to be going that way, if they're not already there.

Not at all.
Outspark is advertising on Yahoo!, not vice-versa. Even if it were the other way, Yahoo! doesn't normally package spyware as far as I know.
