Tanker Style Returns: Robo KQ solo

I know I said I was done.
I know I decided it had to be impossible.
But I couldn't let it rest, I couldn't let it sit at "failure".
I decided to give it 1 more go today -until I started grinding again.

I'll let the pics tell the rest of the story (maybe add a few comments about the pics in them).

I got a +3 lv 40 white axe, a blessed lix2, and 5 t2 hp pots. I was just glad it had anything other than JUST 5 t2 hp pots...

^.^ Nice job. Just want to point one thing out in your last screenie.....there is clearly at least one other person in there. :p But still very nice. Congrats. And how the heck did you take all those screenies while trying to stay alive?!

No you don't need to kill robo to win. As it states in the description you just need to survive till the end of the time or kill robo. Whichever you can accomplish.

Nope...all you have to do to win is survive the 30 minutes. Killing him gets you more exp, but the 8k to win is only from living.



Once Robo came out it actually got easier...the hard part was living while mobs spawned all around the place. I almost killed myself by turning too suddenly at 23 seconds (heart attack), and the vivi and archers both got into attack range. Fortunately, a T3 potion and a stone kept me alive -followed by a T3 regen and another stone -in case Robo got close.

No one else was there, Leyrra (in the whisper) was in the KKP KQ, and Fwee (also in whisper) was whispering because she saw there was 1 person left in a Robo KQ after she finished hers (I think she was in E, I was in D...which oddly enough started after E), and wanted to know how I was doing (she's asked me to tank Robo in her next Robo KQ :-) speaking of which...I need to get ready for it.

Anyways, I used FRAPS for the screenies...it really does lag less -unless you accidentally push the video button instead of the screenie button.

Thanks, Chaola..but technically none of this is really tanking. It's easy to keep aggro when you're the only one in there. A Robo KQ trio at 40 would really be tanking (keeping aggro away from the other 2 poeple who actually attack the weaker mobs). I just call it "tanker style" because Ao is my tanker.





Anyways, I just fought GGK. I'll post pics on the next thread. Keep in mind. I post pics of any first attempted solo -even if I lose.

For me that is tanking, coz as I DD fighter I'm not sure I could survive so many mobs.... Even running...
