Are the servers up or down?'
Am I having a bug or am i banned for some reason?
It seems as if the servers are up seeing how people post on the forums but there is no word of them being down..

That could be due to a few reasons... seeing as no one else is currently complaining of teh servers being down and I don't think there is a scheduled maintenance at this time we can look at your connection. Do you use a firewall? If so, you may have to allow access to Fiesta again (I had to do this after every patch at one point).
If that doesn't work, I'd say check your internet connection, but seeing as you can post here I am willing to bet that isn't the issue.
Restart your computer and try again. If that still doesn't help, all I can suggest is to submit a ticket to the helpdesk for further assistance. Hopefully it won't come to that, however. I'll check back here after a little bit - let me know if you are able to connect or not...

Ok, first of all I dont have a firewall (turned it off). I also restarted my computer just now.
The message "Connection to servers has failed." is still showing up.
The thing is i got disconnected this morning at around 10 AM my time (around 2AM GMT-8 time) and since then i keep getting this error message. I tried PM-ing Fiesta_Help a few hours ago but they didn't reply..

How odd.... well, Fiesta_Help may not be your best resource for this issue. As stated before, you can submnit a ticket for assistance. Granted, they will nt be able to respond right away but hopefully they can resolve this issue for you. :(

I didn't mention reinstalling Fiesta as that the errors associated with that process usuallay aren't 'unable to connect to server' - that is a communicatiuon error between the users computer and the host.

Do you have a router, if so what brand and ID? Like Linkys
Do you use wireless, cord to wall, or satelite internernet.

I only got one from my local internet provider (because i'm having my lan through the phone). Also it worked just fine for the past 15 weeks... Why would it start behaving odd now?
Also I use a Cord to wall to connect ( do have wireless connection on my router though).

Mmm well it might not be simple... plus anytime there's a problem with Fiesta and no one's suggestions help fix it, re-downloading always works for me.
Also, it didn't take hours to download, at least not for me, and I'm using and IBM laptop built in 2005. It took me around 20 minutes o.o

I haven't played for a little while (like 3 weeks) and when I signed on today I had to download a big patch. Afterwards, I can't sign on anymore...what's the deal there? I also have my firewall disabled.

Nop I'm not up and restarting my net modem didnt work either. Any other ideas?
*edit* I also phoned my internet deliverer just now. They are not blocking any ports from their side. The problem doesn't really seem to be on my end..

errrm.. my net works just fine (proof that i am on forums).
I allready tried to download the client and game again (worked just fine) BUT I still get the same error message connection to world servers has failed.,.

Fiesta_Help is your best bet.... and also posting in the TROUBLE SHOOTING fourms.

but Fiesta_Help dose take some time to reply.. alot of people need help... including me... usally takes aournd 2-5 days for a responce.

although i think i know whats going on... i had the same problem before... even though your firewall is off it still can block things.
your best bet in this situation is to ether turn it on and set FIESTA BIN as SAFE... or a complet uninstall of your firewall.

Your account isn't blocked, if it were it would show you an 'id blocked' message in the launcher window.
Have you updated your firewall software in the last day or so? If you have your new firewall may be blocking the program from running.
Worse come to worse submit at ticket to support@outspark.com with the situation
Fiesta_help is generally supposed to be used for in game situations and bug reporting as it goes to the GM's. support@outspark.com is for technical issues like connection problems :)

ive got the same problem, i was playing fine, then all the sudden yesterday i got that error mesage. says "there was an error logging you in. Please check that your email and password are correct (they are) (Unauthorized: 401)" and the status bar on teh bottom says "Unable to connect to server (Retrying 2 of 2)..." same thing today

Thats not the same error. He's getting a 'failure to connect to world server' error. you're having log in issues. Double check again to make sure your password and name are both correct (I use my e-mail sometimes instead of my account name)

Errm, Ok. I was able to connect to the servers today! so I thought yehaa, I'll log on after I go to the shop and get cookies!!
Unfortunately, now I get a connection to servers failed again, and the servers seem to be online according to the forums...

Why should they ban european ip? Oh and are you from sweden? It seems that more people from sweden are unable to log on than just me.. and I want to play !

But not only euro peoples got this issue.
It affects players in the US too, but that thread was closed by CL.

um well it's not on our end so.. it's either on their end or somewhere on the way.. My net deliverer says there are no problems that they can see, so it's definitely not my end.

I know how you feel.
The sad part is, I got to decomp T3 dusts for a player.
Just when we traded the dusts and alch stones I got DC'd and at reconnecting it says "Failed to connect to World server."
Now she/he thinks that I'm probably a scammer... :/

yeah it seems like a probably reason that they have botched the euro ip ban. So instead of closing of threads admins go kick some programmers behind to get it fixed before weekend break for you P.

Somehow I managed to log back into my chars now.
Doubt she will stay logged in for more than 1 hour.
Cuz that's when the DC starts and relog fails with "Failed World server blah blah"...

If that were true, we would still not get "conection to world servers failed".. we would get some error message while trying to click on a server

The European IP-block went into affect a while ago. Players who had an account before I think June or July 14th were allowed to keep their accounts.
@SSide: Servers are (or were) down, thats why you're not getting through on a US account.

I dont know what is going on, I tried almost everything and cannot connect.
After the maintenance I was on for some minutes, than got dc, was on again and since than I cant connect.

I did too. The CSR said something about packages loosing data on the way.. not sure what that's supposed to mean but since I Was on for like a second today..
