You can simply have a unofficial wedding like people use to do prior to the official ones. You just won't have all the extras that come with the CS wedding. =)

They announced that Spark Cash cards would be available at Target eventually, maybe your other half could attain the Spark Cash that way?
Also I know Wal-Mart and many other stores carry Visa cash cards that you can buy and they could use one of those as a credit card to purchase spark cash.
The stats, pets and summon spell are nice, but is that the only reason you are marrying? I'm not saying this to down the addition of the wedding chapel, but I found in the past that the GM/GL/Player led weddings seemed to be a bit more meaningful.
Just some ideas.

we want it to be something to remember ...if we were gonna do the wedding the other way then we would of done it a long time ago..but i like this wedding i think its pretty official and no chance of noobs crashing it and ruining it like many have in the past..my partner doesn't exactly have any money .. and i dont think his parents will let him spend it on a game if he did
btw..isn't it better to have one person buy sparkcash then none >.> ..i bet a lot more people would get married if only 1 person could buy the card thing and not both of them lol

It would be nice if there was a function included in the shop (or even before it is activated in game) where you could "gift" a cash shop item to someone. If we've already spent the money on the item, why shouldn't we be able to disperse it the way we see fit. There's not really a way to abuse the cash shop, people still have to buy the things from Outspark themselves, and if they are going to try and sell it third party, they will charge more, people will not pay for something they can get cheaper from the original manufacturer.
I know there are a lot of IRL couples that would probably find this option nice, this way they could gift one another something and not have to buy sparkcash for both accounts.

I can't disagree with the idea of one partner or another being able to buy the wedding application for both people. I was almost unable to buy the wedding application for my own wedding, and I can understand why someone would want to pay to have their spouse's half taken care of. This is something that can be suggested and looked over by the staff, but I'm sure they had a reason for doing it the way they did. (If it makes sense to the rest of us or not, who knows?)
The idea of being able to gift cash shop items has been gone over in so many threads, and the reasons to keep this out of the game really stack up. This would open whole new avenues for scamming, hacking, as well as driving the worth of gold to unreasonable heights that it would truly be unbalancing. (IMHO)
"Gifting" spark cash and cash shop items would make another case of the rich (irl) getting richer (IG) and I really like the fact that I can be dirt poor or have more money then I know what to do with in my life, and start with an equal playing field in this game.

I'm sure this is on the list of suggestions for them, but as everything else it takes time, programming and unfortunately patience. All we can do is sit and hope that they find it in the best interest of the customer. (Yeay for us!)
Good luck and I hope things work out for the best for the two of you.
Also: Congratulations ^_^ With or without the wedding application.

To comment on the "gifting" a cash shop item, it would be wonderful but Outspark does everything possible to make it IMPOSSIBLE to directly sell r trade cash shop bought items in game so that people with a lot of irl money don't splurge and get rich in game selling the cs stuff to other gamers. Yes the perfects go into ench for stuff that can be sold but tis not a direct thing, you have to work on a weap, and a lot of the perfects don't mean its "9 in 9 tries so they get a lot more outta ya and it can take a long time to ench.
Yes it sucks that not everyone can get married because of this, and I am sure a few desperate fools will try giving their account info to scamers that claim they'll buy them sc but they gotta be strong, maybe go get a part time job and use the money for sc or something.

I ain't saying this like I know anything but they've done things with cs item rewards before, perhaps there will be an event that you can get an application for a reward or something like that, perhaps try speaking with a gm about that, some event only people unwed can go to, the non cs users, to try to win a cs item.

Some months ago I started a thread asking a way to give SC gifts.
Currently, they do not allow any kind of SC item transactions, every SC item you buy is bounded to your char and even SC is bounded to your account. The only leak on this prohibition is the possibility of enhancing items, where you need to trust the enhancer to give your weapon/equip to him.
Some people argued that MMORPGs, who allowed gifts, suffered bad consequences with a wide commerce of items. At the time of my old thread, someone said Outspark was thinking about ways to implement a limited gift system. Until now, however, Outspark does not have a solution for this.

Here is an idea of a safe way to gift that wouldn't affect the economy ingame at all. Have to option to gift from within the store itself. Where you have the options of Cart/Buy Now, just add Gift and a place to type in the recipient's name. This way there is no trading of SC items inworld.

Arg I've sugested that but then I asked for a CL to close it since I re-thought it and it would lead to like 50% more scamming... With people doing like if u pay me I gift u something =/
