Not able to connect too Fiesta server

Since yesterday, im not able to logg into Fiesta anymore. It always says "Connection to server failed"! What am i doing wrong? I already tried to reinstall, game and CPU! Does someone know what too do??:(

same same but for me it's been 2 days now. my post is a few posts lower down.. I also tried restarting my router, call internet provider, check ports.. all that for nothing.. Hopefully i will get some answer form csr's to my ticket soon

The servers are down for emergency repair so that may have something to do with your problems however it would be a good idea to do a ping of the fiesta website to see if there is a bottleneck between you and the servers. Reinstalling the operationg system ( Im asuming thats what you mean by reinstalling the cpu ) is rarely necesary as is reinstalling the game client. Alot of times problems with connections that are within your computer come down to the sites you visit and the mantainince you peform on your computer. Its always a good idea to have a good virus client as well as a software firewall along with spyware and adware tools to check for these items and to provide security but the best defence of all is using common sense when it comes to web surfing and downloading programs and files from sites that you dont know. Word of advice to when it comes to the gold sellers, alot of these sites are bogus and do things like steal accounts at the low end and steal your identity at the high end wich is pretty common so stay away from them no matter how good the deal sounds.

I'm a software writer...I HAVE the framework, and neither one of those fix ideas are working for a lot of us.

Would be nice if they just didn't break things to make you re-download a 700meg file. I have friends on dial-up that their game playing is no more or less lagged than mine is on cable (eld boss events are the worst lag issues) but the act of re-downloading the installer takes almost 2 days.

Ok trying to get some help here. I too am having the Connection to the server has failed error. This is what i have done so far.
Updated my Windows xp to Service pack 3, Downloaded the netframwork, Uninstalled and Re Installed Fiesta (2 Times) Disabled my Anti spy, firewall ( i am running Defender Pro) And still the same error.
I have done all of this on both of my Computers
My first computer is a Acer Aspire M1610 (dual Core)
with 1 Gig of DDR 2 ram. Now i dont run the on board Video. instead i run a Nvida Forsa 6600 (512 mb card)
My Second Computer is an Acer P4 2.8 (board name is P4V8X-X)
it has 1.5 Gigs DDR 1 ram
Graphics card is a ATI X1300 (also 512 mbs card)

My ISP is Sympatico (Bell Canada)
I live (Southern Ontario)
I know this problem exists all over but i am trying to help pin point the problem.
I have read the forums to see if there was any fix for this problem, and i have tried what has been suggested. If i can help anyway by providing any information please let me know.
This is what happenes when i run the launcher, i get an error page not displayed for about 2 seconds then it loads everything normal. At the bottom of the launcher is says Completed updateing Fiesta. I type in my username PW and click login.
I come to the screen where it says NOW LOADING then after it finishes loading i get the message Connection to servers has failed, then i am back at the launcher login in screen.

Also i wanted to add that I play another online Game ( Everquest ) there is no connection problem there
Please help. if there is a fix for this and i have missed it in searching for the answer please post it here. Thanks

There is no change in the game client, so dont download it again.
