What scrolls you can make depends on your ability in scroll making. As you make lower tiered scrolls your ability will rise. You can buy various scroll recipes from the skill masters( Ruby in Roumen). Mouse over them to see what they are.

However 2 scrolls are named Mag Def. one's the shield scroll, other is the magic def scroll.
