Specs:
P4 2.66 GHz
1024MB RAM
6600GT graphics card 128MB
DirectX 9.0c
24MBit connection
Problems include, artifacts flashing on the screen, framerate is smooth one second then it suddenly freezes for 2 seconds, then goes back to normal. Extremely annoying in KQ situations. Also, the game just randomly quits and goes back to my desktop. No warning, nothing. Its really degrading my experience. I have no problems with other games, even those with higher hardware demand.
I have all the latest drivers and everything. Can anyone help me?
EDIT: I have the latest client as well.

Have you defragged lately? sounds like HD seek time lag to me.
As for the DC'es that happens randomly to most people. I might DC 4 or 5 times in a couple of hours and then be fine for days at a time.
I know it isn't a great excuse but this game just went to Open beta on 27th of Aug. still some kinks to work out.It will be fine in time, Just have a little patience. You might want to read through this thread aswell:

Yep I've read that thread, and I defragged not too long ago as well. I don't have any resource hogging processes running in the background. But yeah you are right, its still the beta stage so I guess I'll have to wait.

Hmm, I will try to figure out what is slowing you down. I will look around and see what I can find :)

Do you have the latest drivers for your video card?
What resolution are you running in, and fullscreen or windowed.
Does this happen right away, or after being logged in for any length of time?
Could be anything from outdated drivers, to noise on your net line.

Its more of a hardware/software issue rather than connection issue I think. Also, I actually lied when I said I had the latest drivers.
My problems start with this thread (just read through it, its not very long): http://outspark.com/fiesta/forums/showthread.php?t=5487
Anyway, so even after I got a more powerful PSU, it didn't fix the problem. I found out that the best driver for my 6600GT is the 78.05 beta drivers. I installed that and now I don't get corrupted graphics anymore. But now I have the problem stated in the OP.
@ASCII: I'm running on fullscreen, 1280x1024, and the problems happen anywhere from after 10 to 30 minutes of play.
Thanks for your help guys.
