Well with the 8/20/08 patch the guild capacity is being increased to 100. I know alot of you are worry about your lost conversation n spam in gchat but what about the war lags? Elderine is laggy enough with smaller scale wars and even without them, uruga has become a lagfest war zone for higher levels and Roumen.. man roumen would just lag out of existence..
Alot of people suggest a new area just made for wars others suggest that they just give the guild up to 50 members and 100 on the flist.
A New Area
I for one think that a new area should be in order with the design of the level 60 job quest the third part but that one field on a larger scale and more flat than that of a tilt, a safe zone with a Stone merchant, Skill master, Storage Keeper, and a Smith.. With a gate or two leading to the towns on the near edge of the map Uruga and Elderine gates so they players could ressume what they were doing before the war started, i believe this would reduce lags and vendor killings especially if wars we restricted to this "War Field".
Transportation
In addition to the war field a system should be set up to help aid this, like an instant transport to the war field system. Like if the war has just been declared the Guilds participating in the war would go to their guild menu and choose to warp to the war field, those in KQ's would choose that option and at the immediate ending of the KQ the loading screen will switch to that of the War Field. Guild members that are busy at the time of war could just go into the War Field Gate via Elderine and Uruga. The gates would be accessable by everyone else except during a war declaration time as to say: Guild A warred Guild B members of bot guilds choose wether or not to warp to that area in that 5 minute period before the war starts no outside parties will be allowed to enter until the war starts: this will eliminate vendor killings and such. *Extra* The gate to cities also allows transportation in for by standers that just want to observe the war.
Out Side Healers Tsk Tsk
Along with that is something that could be done about outside healers is that during wars in the war field any outside clerics that are not apart of the warring guilds will view the other warring players as monsters but will not be able to attack or heal for that matter. Meaning no outside help for any guild.
Well thats my idea for large scale guild wars i hope someone takes a loo at this and has something to add or post what they dont understand and i really hope something like this would go into effect.
