Hello All,

This is a simple guide that helped me after the latest patch release.

Issue - The Patcher claims it is patched, but it continues to give me error on loading screen.(Mainly it will not let you choose your char, rather say failed connection).

What is causing this issue - This situation is mainly what happened to me. The cause was that i have 2 partitions, and when the patcher tries to patch, it sends the new files into C: drive, when my outspark is located in D: Drive.

Solution - Simply go to your C: Drive, navigate to c:/program files/outspark and copy Launcher Folder, and replace it with the launcher folder where your outspark is located, and run the launcher again. FIX done.

Now mind you this is only my situation, if your situation is similar then this may work for you.

Definitely fixed it the problem. The partitions, however, are not the base issue, although it is related.

For some reason, Outspark has decided to automatically assume that everyone has installed Fiesta to the default folder, listed above. So if you have installed it anywhere but C:\Program Files\Outspark, you'll get a failed connection error after the loading screen.

How in the world a large company with a game played by so many people can make such a rookie mistake is beyond me, but the fix is above.

Cheers.

I don't have Fiesta in the default folder. All you have to do is browse the folder you put it in when you DL the patch.

I followed all your steps, the patches was running well. Immediately after the patch completes, it says 'Outspark Patcher requires 2 arguments'. What should I do?

I followed all your steps, the patches was running well. Immediately after the patch completes, it says 'Outspark Patcher requires 2 arguments'. What should I do?

Go to "C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\"

Right click Outspark.exe and select "Create Shortcut"

Move the shortcut where you want it.

Right click the shortcut and select "Properties"

In the target field, make sure the link shows "C:\Program Files\Outspark\Launcher\outspark.exe" --run fiesta

Make sure you copy and paste the whole link. Don't forget the --run fiesta
