I have tried over and over again but still the server is not connecting. My internet is fine I have re-installed the launcher TWICE and still nothing happens: all I can do is watch the opening. PLEASE post some solution.

I'm betting everyone who is having that problem in this thread has a firewall up or something similar that is blocking it. Check your firewalls ppl.

I get that error all the time but I control/alt/delete and end task fiesta and then reclick the launcher and sign in and it goes in finds the server every time... try that... if that doesn't work for you not sure what else to try other than checking your firewall settings like TastyTapioca says...

I am having the exact same problem as you guys.. the login and and everything else work fine and then I go to the game...and it says the sever failed. And it will show the opening scenes with the cat and dragon...I don't think its my firewall cuz the firewall tells if the program is starting and if that is ok..and I tell it yes...and it allows the game to open..but the server is still an issue. I have had this happen before with other Online games I am on like trickster...and usually I can just shut the game down and then re try it and it works fine but this one is proving to be more sketchy...if anyone has any helpful hints it would be greatly appreciated I really want to check out this game soon! :(

if its doing this on the login screen, then that means you installed it during closed beta. you gotta uninstall the cb fiesta, and install th ob fiesta.

For everyone obviously not posting any helpful information about their problems.. let me ask you all this.
1) How much RAM do you have?
2) What kind of video card do you have?
3) Are the drivers updated for it?
4) Are you using a Laptop or Desktop?
5) Do you have DirectX 9.0c installed?
6) Do you have a firewall up and running?
7) Are you trying to use dialup? (trust me.. people try..)
These and many other helpful nuggets of information can help narrow down what may be your issues with the game. Hint hint.
This game is universal in programming execution but only certain people are being affected. Do you see where I'm going with the questions now?

I also have the same problem, it is very annoying.
and tasty . . nothing to do with the firewall, to let people know . . . .i have disconnectoed my firewall before attempting to play, and have tried with it on.
The firewall doesn't make a difference, so keep your computer safe and leave it up.
But i also would like this problem fixed asap, becuase i'm loving the look of fiesta!:o

Same problem, and no working solution.
I must say this looks very bad for Outspark and Fiesta. Take me as an example, I was doing my regular gaming stuff and saw an webadd for the game, thought, "OK, this looks cool, I'll give it a try". Went to do the download and installed, still haven't had a chanse to try it out since day after day all I get is a connect fail and searching for solutions gives nothing. I bet most people that finds a game like this the same way I did will only give it one chanse, then uninstall and never look back (and in addition avoid other games from the same company). This is very bad for Outspark as (I think) a lot of new gamers to these types of games comes from word of mouth, and this can create a bad reputation in the market.
Just a thought...

Same here. It was all working before the maintenance. And now that's the only thing I see. All my stuff is up to date and I've done all the reinstalls like three times and all I get is the opening sequence and "Connection to Server Failed."

Same issue, just get the error.
In regards to Tapioca's post, the only things that would be relevant to this problem are 6 and 7. So, for me: My firewall is up and running, however every .exe and .bin I could find in the entire program folder has full allowance. This should allow the game to run at it's full capabilities, without blocking ANY of the data packet sending. My firewall is not an issue for any other game, as long as all .exes and .bins have full allowance.
As for 7, no. I'm running on a cable connection. It IS wireless, so if there's some port forwarding that's needed, I'd like to know what port needs forwarded, exactly.

you put down port 0-1600000000000000
Umm... no. There's only 65535 ports total... that said, please try to not provide misinformation when there's enough of an issue with people trying to help others.

I wish people would use the search tool before they jump the gun. GM_Steam has made a few statements in other threads saying that the problems are being looked into. His post is no more than an hour old at this point in time.
That said, the game is in beta. Beta means.. there is going to be issues, and potentially alot of them. That's why there are beta testers like you and I, we help find the bugs to make the game more stable before it's official release out of beta.

Its the thing that i dont use the search function if i've found a post about the problem i have. And in a thread larger than 3 pages, a GM should give a short comment, perhaps a link to his other statement, shouldnt be too much work.

I've got mine to work now. To do so, I had to turn off both firewalls(which is a little bit unsettling), and while they're off, re-install Fiesta, without uninstalling the previous version. Rebooted my CPU after the fresh install and patch and it worked. If someone finds another fix that doesn't require me leaving my CPU completely open to whatever wants to get into it..that'd be just peachy. Boggles my mind that Full Allowance isn't enough allowance, apparently.
