Whats Up With The Lag?!

I thought switching to a new Host will make the lag less, But it seems to made it worst O.O.....i cant get a grind going without freezing up or "porting" all over the place and i was just wondering if this can be fix. >.< and i know im not the only 1 with this problem sooo..... >.>

Everyone is having this problem. The new servers are probably just kind of settling in. The lag is more than likely a temporary thing, and if OutSpark can do anything about it, I'm sure they will as soon as they get back in their offices.

EDIT: Just realized I intruded in the Bijou forum, hope this helps none-the-less XD.

hmmm "Servers are just setting in" is not really something servers do, they are not like autos, that you have to warm them up, or get them to heat up, once on a better server/connection it should be better, rather i think what it is, maybe the software is too new for this old game server software, that it might have issues with the code that was translated in english, or somethign was not setup right, this not likely that you move to a different and also better server and alll of a sudden lol its worse. =P

Whoa Soul, Guess what you're the only person who has this problem! Must be your computer... or internet connection... Perhaps rats are chewing on your wires?

Cause this has nothing to do with outspark, or the move, or the new host.

I also got bad lag after server move.Keep getting ported back while running.
Hear click when picking up or using items but it don't work right away if it works at all.On kq when cleric healed my fighter nothing happened and everything kept freezeing.

Gibbous - Cleric lvl 18
Selune - Fighter lvl 16
Moonstruck - Mage lvl 8

I logged on and was trying different things like turning down settings.Did the shift-z to remove players and stuff.Did this in Roumen went to Sea of greed Was still lag but not bad,went back to Roumen and the porting around stopped.It's a little hic-upy but not unplayable like it was.I have no idea if anything i did changed something or if something got changed at that same moment.

lag is baaadddd.. im running 3ghz dual core pentium with 2 gig memory... 1 gig video...200gig HDD... riding solo on a 1 mb connection.. that has no progs running but fiesta alone.. and the best i could do atm is vend. lol

eh talk about wasting cash shop items till they expire :(

Outspark is working on getting the lag handled as well as handling all of your other problems, Just try to be patient.

I get lag too after the update. Something fishy is going on... and based on what I've seen, there are a lot of people affected. So it is an outspark thing, not just our laptops and connection

I'm sure that outspark will have these refunded.

As for the handling of the lag, Most outspark staff have been up 30+ hours without sleep and with very minimal breaks to get this handled.

I, for one, am not surprised. At all. When you switch service providers and servers; there is bound to be issues. (4 hours? 6 hours? 8 hours later) Especially when it's made spur-the-moment.
It is very frustrating, but I played all weekend nevertheless.
I am just dissapointed that Outspark hasn't acknowledged the issue oppenly and sayid that they are working on it (I'm confident they are).

I don't think it's appropriate to tell people to stop posting their feedback in terms of the game. It's important that outspark knows the gravity of the incident and that will help them prioritize the work they are doing.

Well, all that needed to be said has been said here. The lag has mostly gone away...and the patch should clear up any remaining shreds.
