No, this game isn't free to play. It never will be. When open beta ends it'll cost $18 a month to play and you'll need to donate your kidney to have the funds to purchase anything from the Shop when it opens.
Marriages will end, morgages will be refinanced, and unicorns will spotting dancing on people's front lawns.
Stupid author of this post: 1) Can't read English or 2) Has a serious ADD issue and can't take the 2 seconds to see it at the very opening web page. I'll say #2.
