Actually CLs have said that they are relaxing and haven't started working on it, thus your point of them doing all that they can do is proven wrong.

What would be funny is if they had a falling out with there old ISP over rising costs and decided to move db and services to a new ISP only to find out the bandwidth sucks and now they're having to suck up or scrounge around for a new ISP to host.....

No that would suck and show poor forethought. Although they showed poor forethought in doing the move right b4 holiday and then they all left for holiday....hence no one left to deal with the problems. So who knows maybe they didn't research the ISP b4 the move.....i doubt it tho, I just think they figured hey lets do the move advertise big sale, then go on holiday and when the lag is unbearable their time limited items will run out and then when we come back the hero's to fix it they will be motivated to buy more time limited items..... 0.0

I will feel scammed if they don't compensate me for the 2 1/2 days of wasted time limited items. 2 days is alot on a 7 day items

jah, seriously. experience boost cards + extra storage space = useless when it takes forever to do one action. Seriously, sometimes stores and storage don't even pop up.

I agree totally with the original poster.
Seriously guys.
Have none of you considered the fact that maybe this was a completely unforseen, very unfortunate accident? Everyone seems a bit too willing to believe that Outspark is part of some great conspiracy to steal your money ...
That's just silly -_-
I have time limited items on too. But I don't expect "compensation" (which, by the way, they are not entitled to give you. It's in the ToS somewhere if I remember rightly). This was a MISTAKE. Accidents happen, and if you were in their shoes would YOU want to give up your holiday for something that essentially is mildly irritating at worst? No, I didn't think so.
So seriously. Stop whining, it's pointless and immature -_-

Actually, he was referring that the CLs said the GMS arent doing much right now.

Because its a "HOLIDAYYYYYYYYYY".
Why do a server move RIGHT before a holiday anyway, its stupid. They should KNOW that there would be instability or it not-be-perfect. I mean these are GMs, Game Masters, they know game code, and actually WORK for Outspark. They should KNOW this.

Its like a Wedmaster who doesnt know how to do color on a website. Its just wrong.

I've been in contact personally with several of the staff and they've been working 30+ hours straight without sleep or 'relaxing' as you call it.

This is what the outspark staff are now investing their money in:

"I'm sure an announcement will be made once the Outspark staff comes back to work.

Today is a Holiday in the States in which most people have the day off.

These issues will be dealt with accordingly once they are present at the office to deal with them.

As of now there is nothing they can do if they are trying to enjoy their time off.

Also please do not spam the forums by recreating the same thread multiple times. This is not going to make things go any faster. This will just result in you landing yourself into a bit of trouble for spamming."

Well might suggest that your CLs find out concrete details before they "speculate" things for us, because look, I can do it too:

"Outspark has decided to cut back on server costs and has downgraded to cheaper servers, please forgive us as we needed to cut back on costs somewhere, please enjoy the new lag during the game."

And you know what, my post has as much concrete details in it as the first one by the CL!

I see your quote of this person no where in any part of this thread. Link?

Edit: nevermind. I found it. Allow me to assist the link deprived people.

See, this is why making a random thread telling people to stop complaining is just as bad. Because people will start arguing, or they'll just use This thread to complain. It doesn't do Any Good.

Or how about the CLs are just trying to give people some kind of answer, and they can only deduct what they can using the best logic they have.

Why must people here assume that Outspark is just trying to screw the players by going cheap?

Also @ whoever said. "Why do maintenance before a holiday?"

Because they did. I'm sure they didn't say, "Well guys it's about time for Labor Day, let's plan something to mess up, and then take Labor Day completely off so that our customers might quit, and we lose money. K?"

Honestly that wasn't the smartest assumption. I could've told you that the staff here is dedicated enough that they'll be trying to fix it immediately.

A lot more in life, and in this game can be avoided if you look at the good in everything.

Good in this situation?

New servers with maybe some lag for a little bit. No one has said that this lag is permanent, everyone is just assuming that. [GM]Cretzina said they were aware of the lag in an in-game announcement, and that they were working on it. If that was said, I'm honestly doubting lag will be permanent.

Also the old servers decided to do surprise maintenance while we were having our Burning Rock update, meaning corrupted game files. So we could go back to the old servers, then one day you're Lv 88 going for cap, just purchased 50$ worth of cash shop, and getting ready for the most intense grind of your life. 2 hours into your day, the server decided to do maint, corrupting the files, also deleting your character, and everything that you've worked for.

I'd rather have lag that is most likely temporary, than risking my more than a year's work gone.

People be optimistic really. It makes life seem so much better. ;)

Why stop whining and complaining about it?
That would just foster the assumption that it is not an issue that anyone cares about.

As for the people who are addressing the problem working around the clock, there is a method of dealing with that concern dating back at least 12000 years called working in shifts.

As of this point the lag is so bad for me that the game is all but completely unplayable.
I guess that they will fix it eventually.

Um, no offense, but they arent working on it much straight if therye talking to you DX

Srsly tho I understand they have to talk to people, but srsly..
They could at least tell the CLs what is up, so the CLs dont have to think of bogus replies to us. I mean.. its pretty sad when one CL says they know the GMs are working hard, yet another one says that since its a holiday, the GMs arent working at all. Who are we to believe? We dont know, so thus this just makes users angrier because there are contradicting answers.
Its like..asking your parents for something
"May I have a soda?"
"no-""-yes".
Uhm... Yeah. You get nowhere, only it makes the little kiddos angrier because theyre not getting a concrete sincere answer.

Yes, but.. the poor CLs.. someone needs to keep them in the loop DX
After all, they DONT work for outspark.
They DONT get paid.

Yet on the weekends and holidays, while all of us are panicking, they are here trying to comfort us.

At least keep em in the loop!!!! DXDXDXDX

I guess someone misinterpreted my post about the new servers, I was trying to make a point that when people contradict themselves, they pretty much lose all credibility. I posted that just to show that my post has just as much evidence and facts as anyone else does when they simply assume. In no way is that what I think they did to the servers.

Heh - I don't mind the complaining, to be honest. After all, it is an inconvenience, for both us, the players and the Outspark staff. I also wish we CLs had a little more warning.. say a week or so, to make the necessarily announcements, etc. After all, we are community leaders; our primary purpose is to act as liaison for information between the community and Outspark.

So yes, I think everyone has a right to complain. I just ask that it be kept civil and clean and as flame-free as possible.

The admin team have been working all weekend on this issue and continue to do so today. Hopefully the lag issues will be resolved soon.

I don't mind the complaining, it just bugs me that the complain topics show up everywhere constantly, not to mention the shouts in most towns are dominated by it. I mean seriously, after a few days we KNOW there is lag, we ALL have it and we can't fix it. You'll just have to wait...

I think a lot of the complaining could've been averted if Outspark had simply made an announcement on the forums saying something like "We are aware of the lag. We are working hard to try and fix it." If they had posted this, all threads that started complaining could've been directed to this announcement and hence, closed. Communication is all we ask for. I have been checking the forums daily, looking for some kind of announcement from Outspark so that I know they are aware of the problem and are working on it. However, I simply find more threads with people complaining and random speculations about when and how it may be fixed. The game is completely unplayable for me and I have been patiently waiting for some kind of ETA on the problem solution. And if there has been an official announcement, forgive me for my inability to find it.

ROFL, I think we've already established that Outspark is FAR from being a professional outfit.

And we have a right to complain, especially when some of us spent our own money on this game. It's hard for us not to feel like we've been ripped-off right now. It's been 4-5 days. Some people had alot of timed items (that cost REAL money) that have elapsed. Some people have items from the cash shop just sitting there and they have no idea if they're gonna ever be able to use them. I don't know about the rest of you, but if someone pays me to deliver goods or services IRL, and I take their money, and I DON'T give them the things I promised: then I would probably be accused of stealing their money.

So, yeah, we're gonna complain...

A bit harsh on the criticism but a point well made.
Outspark is providing a service that some people are paying real money for.
I would prefer to avoid a debate about the issue so I will leave it at that.
(Dakkon gets angry at me for instigating debates to participate in) LOL
