Hello all.

I am aware of the basic rules for the Monarch system: Master gets 10% of Apprentices spendings, and Apprentice gets nice goodies at the x0 levels, and that the relationship between them must span 10 levels to stay in effect.

..However, I have encountered a problem. I am an apprentice to a level 74 player, and upon hitting level 60 there is nothing inside my rewards bag. I have ensured that out relationship is still valid and working, and that I have gone through every almost every page in that rewards section (which last quite a while) and there is nothing.

Is this normal? Or does an apprentice gain the reward 10 levels from when he forged the relation with the master? I don't see myself hitting 70 soon, and if there is nothing in it for me i feel as if i am just giving money away... Because I have no idea what the problem is, I am not sure I am posting this in the right board, and invite a mod to move my topic if necessary.

Your apprenticeship just rewards till level 40, after that theres no gain in being an apprentice.

The only possible benefit for being an apprentice beyond lvl 40 is having a really good "master" who is willing to share their hard earned wisdom with you and perhaps even party with you in order to help you level more quickly. If your master is not willing to actually be a help and a teacher you either need to find a new one or don't bother with the system at all. For my part, as a "master", I feel obligated to my apprentices and give them all the help I can whenever I am able. I am very grateful for the extra cash I get for being a master and relieved in knowing that it does not actually affect the apprentices cash flow but instead comes from the NPC the apprentice buys from. It does not harm an apprentice to remain with a master and does not cost the apprentice any silvers directly. As you get higher in levels it is very hard to find someone high enough to be a master and even fewer who are willing to be gracious and helpful.
