Whoo! It was hard weekend, but we made it...

First off, I want to thank the GMs, the dev team, the CSRs and whoever else worked so hard to get a huge patch like the one we're getting tonight, in a matter of days. You all know how long it takes to implement patches normally, and to get one to us over a holiday weekend shows their effort.

I know tensions were running high, tempers were short, and duplicate threads were abound...but I want to thank you all for being understanding as possible, and getting others to be understanding about the situation as well. I would also like to give a big shout-out to all those who helped the CLs by PMing lists of duplicate threads for closure, and for those who helped others by alerting them to posted announcement and stickies with solution. We couldn't have made it through this without the big Outspark family, and I hope this solidarity continues into the future.

For all you Bijouans, I'll be seeing you in-game. I am itching for some Fiesta after three days of staring (and swearing) at "connection has failed" messages over and over.

btw i want to express my gratitude too :D kinda gets tiring when you have to tell everyone "Be patient" and "there's already a thread about this" or "this is why this is happening" xD

i also want the thank the GMs for their hard work, and the CLs for cleaning up the forums lol

Well it's good to hear that the CLs, GMs etc were working so hard to fix this problem. I like the commitment and it shows that all the players' complaints have not gone unnoticed. I really hope though that the issues are fixed once and for all so finally I would be able to blaze through the world of Isya lag-free. I will just say good job in advance unless... xD

Ya know, psychologically speaking positive reinforcement tends to produce a more productive and prompter response than negative reinforcement. Negative reinforcement tends to produce a state of stress, stress means that they aren't as focused on doing their jobs and are more likely to flub something.

As you can see, your own negative comments have gotten you that pretty little red rep bar. When people view you as negative, they are less likely to listen to what you have to say. When they see that you are generally positive and helpful they are more willing to pay attention to what you have to say. Naturally, there will always be a few that just don't give a d***.
Not to mention, if people see that you're generally rude or a jerk they're a lot less willing to help you with your problems, as time has proven that you're still gonna be a jerk even after the situation is resolved.

A positive influence and a positive nature goes a lot farther than a negative one.
