This is only a mini guide, I just thought I would throw this us seeing as how they have not implemented t4 stone skills.
Ok you've got a new t4 item, picked up some t4 miles and eyes from the store, and want to start making it shiney? But you notice the lack of available stones in the market. Heres a short list on whre you can find some. All the known location and monsters that will help you on that road.
First, there are some chests in higher zone maps that always drop at least 1 random type stone.
CP2: 2 chests spawn time 1.5-3 hours
AeW: 2 chests spwan time 1.5-3 hours.
FoS: 2 chests spawn time 1.5-3 hours.
TR: 2 chests spawn time 1.5-3 hours.
BR: Unknown
FM: Unknown
GHS: Unknown
CP2 is a good one for this, as its a relativly small map, and lower end mobs. Just be sure if you are running through there to not drop a ton of mobs on regular grinders.
But if chest hunting isn't your thing, and you want to get some exp while collecting t4's, then there are a few mobs that can drop them as well. Ive found they seem to have a 10-20% drop rate on average.
CP2:
Giant Stonie located at G5 room, spawn time 6 hours +-
Ghost knight located at A5 room, spawn time 6-7 min
AeW:
Giant Grenkey, located on the way to FoS, spawn time 6 hours +-
Legendary Tree, located (Ill update that when i go there next), Spawn time 6-7 min
FoS:
Giant Stonie, located at ~C5, spawn time 6 hours +-
Legendary Tree, located on the way to BR, spawn time ?(ill look)
Some people have told me that gold ores can rarely drop them, I have yet to get one though. Also I have heared Mobs that drop gold ores, such as 6x and 7x abyss can rarely drop them. Again, I myself have not seen that, but it may be possible.
My personal method of getting about 5-7 stones a day, is to go to CP2 on a slow day, do a quick chest run. Then kill Ghost Knight for a few hours, 3 at the most. And repeat chest run. Yes its a 3 hour chunck of time that I could be grinding, but I love to stockpile these things. I get in about 6-7 Ghost knight kills per hour, and even at 8x its still ok exp.
If anyone has any information or finds some in say Uruga or another place let me know.
