License clear- Doesn't work on first license?

I recently bought a weapon that had a worthless license on it, and I was thinking about buying the license clear to remove it. I did a forum search and got a few hits saying that it won't remove the first license, though. Can anyone confirm this?

mine worked for a friend of mine. he was telling me about it the other day.

why wouldn't it remove the first one?
and if you remove all licenses would it lose the name of the original creator?

It was broken 2 patches ago, but is fixed now. I just removed two first licenses (creator) with now problem. ^___^ I'll update the thread where I reported this as a bug if I can find it.

Well I guess it was bugged when I had tried because my first license could not be removed. Anyway glad it's fixed now.

Go to the license murchant, right click the license it will open up the license clear window. Put your weapon in the top box and just cross off those you do not want.
