Because fiesta needs to be completely re-installed to fix the latent issues with lag.

Your client should have DLed the new game and installed it for you though.

This actually happened to one of my GLs. We were sitting and discussing it while we were all DLing the new patch. I managed to get mine installed but Asp lost his in a manner similar to yours and I'm not sure what ended up happening to Fox. I had to run along to work before I could get a reply from him.

I expect Outspark will have some helpful posts as these incidents occur.

how could it patch when it completely uninstalls the fiesta folder after downloading and installing the fiesta full-1_201_0.exe. even restarted my pc.

Download the game from the site. Sometimes the patching doesn't work for some people. Really all it's doing is installing a complete version of Fiesta on your computer. So it's best to just get the up to date copy from the site.

I can't guarantee that will fix your 64bit issue (So not a computer wiz), but downloading the game is a start.

If you take a screenshot upload it to a site like Photobucket or Imageshack and copy and paste the [IMG] code.

For Vista Users

Open Windows Explorer (to view your computer not the internet)
*Start Menu > Computer
You will need to access a certain file.
C:\\users\\[user_name]\AppData\Local\Temp\

Ok, now it changes for everyone here. Look at your Error Message and note what you see. Could not find file x.

Look in the Temp folder for sub folders that start the same way {F850...} Open this folder and look for Fiesta installer there. ( Fiesta.msi )

Run the Fiesta Installer from the Temp Folder.

For XP Users:

Same as Vista but your navigation path will be:
C:\\Documents and Settings\[user_name]\Local Settings\Temp\

Notes:
*The file path can not be navigated to through standard means you will have to type it in the address bar.
*The [user_name] should be replaced with your user name on your computer.
*It will be the longest time you ever spent waiting on a program to install. It is very slow but should work when done.

I was not aware of the error message received I was just going on what I experienced with the DL.

ok you know how many folders are in that file? and i dont see one that starts with F850 on it either theres a F72 but its empty

If your not sure how to find out what version of vista you have do the following.

Start menue, control panel, system maintenance, system, look down towards the lower section of the page and it will tell you if its 32 bit or 64 bit.

Print screens can be done by pressing the Prt Scr button on your HP keyboard locted above the Backspace key. If you have a printer make sure that you turn it off first, it should save it to a location like documents.

They are still separate launchers for each game...so you couldn't say, patch Fiesta from the solstice or ProPow launcher.

I don't know how it worked, but last night it wasn't working for me, I downloaded the manual patch and when it finished it tole me the whole bla-bla "outspark.exe not found"...so I deleted that, and let it auto-download through the launcher...come back after work this morning and it was working.
