Gravedigging/necroing- The act of bringing back a "dead" thread. A thread is considered "dead" when no one has posted over a time period of 2 or more weeks.

Name Origination.

The act of "necroing" derives from the the term "necromancer," who is someone who raises the dead for his own purpose. By bumping a thread, you bringing back an old thread for your own purpose.

Why it's Bad
Necroing is bad, because there's no point in bringing back old threads that no one has interest in. It pushes the old topics in front of the more recent ones, the ones that possibly contain needed information for players to enjoy the game.

How to Prevent Gravedigging

You can prevent gravedigging by check the thread you want to post on for the last post date. There's a date above every person's name on the left side. If the the last date is 2 weeks or older, don't post, because the thread is most likely dead.

Exceptions to the Gravedigging Rule

The only possible exception for gravedigging is stickies that help people, such as a thread where you may ask question from the thread opener on how to deal with specific problems.

I belive that cast of Fiesta necromancers are strong and healty :D, so i doubt that we can persuade them not to revive old dusty mummy threads ;)

What's so wrong about necro-threads? We must give our respect to the necro threads just like we give our respect to our elders :) It's always good to look into the past.

I Agree, It depends on the thread really. For instance if it's a troubleshooting thread and the problem has been solved and it gets necrod, obviously this would be annoying, However if it's a cool thread that people just stopped posting in, I see no problem with it.

I was annoyed more on the fact that people are going around to irrelevant and random threads that are long dead and typing things such as 'Im bored' or 'Necroing random threads for the hell of it'
Of course people can do it to useful threads etc but we gotta make way for the future :D
Y'all get me? :)

Yea, we getcha...forum threads that are flat out dead and are not useful should be left alone while threads that are useful but are old can be revived.
