There needed to be a forum for all things alchemy..this is close enough.

_______For Item Enhancement______
General rules:
-Make sure what your upgrading is NOT equiped.
-The upgrade stone goes into one of the blank looking slots in the circle around the middle peice.
-The middle slot is for what your upgrading.
-The bottom 3 slots as far as I know don't have purposes YET, may be a patch for them later on.
-Only use one upgrade stone at a time (or else you will not be able to even start the refining), to seperate them, hold shift then left click them.

Elrue - For +1-3 Enchantments.
Lix - For +4-6 Enchantments.
Xir - For +7-9 Enchantments.

An item will start to glow at +3 (which is three enhancements, use the white number next to the item name for the amount of +'s an item has).

You can get a max of +9.

_____Production Skills______

-Stone Production - Used to make upgrade stones such as elrue, lix, and xir.
-Scroll Production- Used to create scrolls such as Vitality and Power scrolls.
-Potion Production - Used to make potions including hp, sp, and potions to cure debuff's on you such as poison.

As for Material composition and decomposition, can someone make a post about those? I'm less informed on these to catagories.

material compisition is used to make better materials for better potions scrolls and lir and xir for weapon upgrading but for material compistion you need alchemy stones which can be bought in elderine with fame points cant buy em with money in elderine unless you buy em from a player npc only takes fame points

Also, if you would upgrade, there are a few tips i won't be saying. They will be very obviously, though.

Material composition and decomposition. These are interesting skills. They're the only two that I know of that require the use of alchemy stones. Alchemy stones can be aquired in two ways:

1) Use fame points to purchase them in Elderine
2) Purchase them for copper from various player sellers through the game.

Material composition is used for when you need to upgrade to something. Decomposition is the more popular of the two as it is needed to help with creating materials used in the creation of scrolls, potions, and stones.

An example is Magic Crystals (low quality). These are one of two ingredients needed to produce SP pots. If you have a regular Magic Crystal and use the Material Decomposition, it usually makes around 18 or so per 1 Magic Crystal. That'll allow you to create 9 SP pots to sell or use for yourself.

Hope this isn't confusing. I have the knowledge in my head but putting it into understandable structure for reproduction is sometimes hard for me.

Oh, you should also include where you can get the alchemy skills and to what you need to pay attention to.

To buy alchemy skills, go to skill master ruby or the master of your clas in elderine. I guess it's same in uruga, can't tell for sure though. Click on the alchemy tab to let the skills for alchemy appear.

For certain alchemy skills you need certain exp points of production. For example, vitality scrolls. You need 300 exp of scroll production. To advance to the next level of producing scrolls, for example, You need 1000 production experience. I think it will be very likely for that.

Ahh I see, so the material compisition and decompisition is like changing the tier level of materials, more lower tier for each higher tier of course. Thanks.
