anyone have some advice on how to pass the shadows?

i am having trouble defeating my own shadow, what have other level 20's done?

When doing this mission make sure you have plenty of hp and sp potions and stones, plus also make sure you get some scrolls first to up your stats especially your hp.

Yep....be prepared is right, as your shadow has roughly 10 times your own HP (at least mine did...and that was my buffed HP)

Buy ALL the scrolls you can ...+200HP is crucial, but increased dmg, shield, and aim/agility, all help in this battle.

And if you're not a cleric...party with one to get the buffs for even more power and defense.
You'll have to leave the party to do the quest, but you'll keep the buffs.

My advice for this to make it a little easier.... When you go into the Dark room at first after the keiblings... kill off the fighter and archer then, that way you won't get them at the end.

Also, wait near the back until the stone statue spawns and kill that first. Then go attack your shadow. You'll get another statue a bit later.... keep healed, kil lthat off and then back to attacking your shadow.

I've done this with an archer, mage, and cleric... and it IS effective.
