Problems installing the new launcher!!

I'm having trouble installing the new launcher on my computer. I download the full launcher and when i tryed to install it, it gived me an eror saying that i have to install .Net Framework. I tryed downloading the .net framework from the microsoft website but i can't connect to the server. Can anyone help me, please! :(

download .Net framework directly from Microsoft via this page:

If you're are having installation issues with the .NET Framework 2.0, it's pretty easy. First, follow instructions on here: http://forums.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/netfxbcl/thread/e40d80ca-6fe7-403d-b576-d6d72ef5e349 (http://forums.msdn.microsoft.com/en-US/netfxbcl/thread/e40d80ca-6fe7-403d-b576-d6d72ef5e349)
If the installation of 2.0 still fails, go to C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework and manually delete the folder that says "v2.0.50727". DO NOT DELETE OTHER VERSIONS OF THE FRAMEWORK. ONLY DELETE THE ONE THAT SAYS "v2.0.50727" Then, re-install the .NET Framework 2.0 from the Microsoft Download Center. it worked like a charm for me!

When you're installing the Framework, be sure to check if you're computer is a 32-bit or 64-bit before installing. The one that says (x86) is for 32-bit comps (like mine).

Outspark has been having network issues http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104915 (http://outspark.com/forums/showthread.php?t=104915), but this was posted Aug 29, so I don't know if it has been resolved yet. If you successfully install it, but get this "Error: Fail to connet to Internet", then it's probably a network issue. I think they're having maintenance tonight, to try to resolve this issue. I hope it solves the problem.

You ain't the only one with problems. Alot of ppl have em too. The GMs are really busy cuz they've been bombarded with PMs and mails. Give em time to fix it.

and believe me i hav been playin sos for at least over 4months
but recently i had a system restore on my computer and the sos files were erased so i said "ill just redownload it from the internet!"
.....(around an hour laterz).....
me:there we go and runs the install shield =D
*waits for install shield to load up some decompressing*
.....(laggggggg for at least 10mins).....
then this windows installer appears on my screen kk so i thought dat this is the real thing
.....(lagggg for another 10mins).....
and finally...INSTALL DENIED >.<
me:***?!!! windows.net.framework 2.0?!!?
*goes to random mirror and screams my head off*
(tries to redo everything again and gets same response)
me:dats it ill do this next day
.....(the very next day).....
*i deicided to do it again but....unoewats T_T*
so i went up to the net and gets the downloads for framework 2.0
took around 2mins to finish kk idc really...
me:*crosses fingers come on work today of all days*
i redid the install shield install and...
BAM~passed ^.^
me:FINALLY~took long enough

and yep dats how everything went

The new server does say that it requires the newest micrsoft Framework 2.0 to work. Your safest bet is to go to microsoft website and look for a current software update of Microsoft framework.

ok..well...i'm a bit confused....i went to C:/WINDOWS/Microsoft.NET\Framework but...i didn't found "v2.0.50727"
I only found v1.0.3705 and v1.1.4322 ... ~_~...wat now? should i delete those 2?

And i also:

-tryed to install again .Net Framework 2.0 ...but it says the same thing "The page cannot be displayed" and "The page you are looking for is currently unavailable. The Web site might be experiencing technical difficulties, or you may need to adjust your browser settings."

-deleted the game again and reinstall it..but same problem..need .Net Framework..

ok i'm compeletly new to this and i've tried all the ways you said all i have is one more question if i download the oirgnal version (if i can even get that working..) will i ever be able to download the lastest version?

ok now both setups are not working i keep getting a reading installation error any ideas anyone?

eduard_eric, that would mean that your computer only has net framework version 1 and 1.1. So, upgrade it to version 2 by downloading and installing the ver 2.
