im lucky coz i managed to installed fiesta sucessfully.... here is some solution that i do

be4 this, it was impossible to install this new patch either by dowloading through launcher or by download the installer itself... im almost giving up. im using windows vista/1GB DDR2/NVidia GeForce 8400M (128MB). everytime i try to install, nothing happen then, so today i come up with some trick idea of how to install it.

this is how i do it:
1. go to start>run and type "msconfig"
2. uncheck all the unnecessary option they may have and leave all the default option (most common option that windows use)
3. apply the change and restart ur pc
4. then try to install fiesta (might take some times, so be passion)
5. if still nothing try to uncheck others programme on startup option and try one more.... hopefully this will help :p

I would not suggest anyone who doesn't know what to do in msconfig to attempt anything in there without detailed instructions. sure limiting your startup programs can help you boot quicker. but when you stat playing with your system services BOOT.INI and other sections you should be cautious or perhaps just not play with msconfig as changes you make can easily screw up your computer.

telling people who are not experienced with their computer is like asking children to play with knives. keeping in the metaphor. your explanation was about as good as handing an infant the knife blade first.
