Wing Quest

Heard about this quest to get the White/Black angel wings that the GMs wear. Heard it will be a free in-game quest. Heard they will give +weight capacity and +3 movement speed. Also heard the quest is either lvl 66 or 112 O.o Very very mixed responses.

Can someone who knows quite a bit about this quest give us some extra info? like when it will be implemented and stuff.

There is no word on when this quest will be implemented but yes it is in game, it is a very long drawn out process. I do not know the stats of the wings but they are called "Epic Wings" so they must be great. I can't wait to do this quest so I can get me a set.

Hopefully they also cost 50mill kron on the side. Let's drain some of that money out of the economy, and give people a great goal to strive for!

im hoping it wont be above lvl 96 as it would be awesome to get a pair for my future Assassin. But who am i kidding, the quest probably wont even come out this year :( Sad sad sad.

Players that dont use Spark Cash items really need equipment for the Eye and Back slots >_< anything would be helpful.

An outspark official (not named for security purpose) said that the "higher ups" dont want to implant the epic wings yet

They want there to be more players in this server before they start introducing this new quest

so ya... maybe a year or two? or maybe when SOTS are losing so many players and outspark get desperate, so they will throw the epic wings out trying to keep the sparkcash players in a bit longer for some last milking.

Outspark is all about marketing =)

the required lvl to wear them is lvl66, so maybe it's a lvl66 quest... I dont remember quite well, but I think that the stats they give r +2 movement speed and +500 weight capacity (or was it 300? dun remember)

Im REALLY hoping it's going to be the type of quest that is do-able by all levels...like the Amplification quest...that quest was pure win.

if u wanna know the stats of the angel wings, check jot if murdock is on, he always use the wings and he's the only gm that u can inspect... thinks its too late too tell though

You can also inspect Silky before

I wonder if it's going to be like in Xenepic. Each set of wings have a different attribute, but generally, the black is more towards the MP and the white towards the HP. But, when you do the quest, it's a toss what two things you'll get. (The +100 or 200 MP are the ubber ubber expensive ones in Xenepic.)

Well the lvl requirment on the wings in SoS is 66 so i highly doubt the quest itself will be higher then 66....whats the point of making the lvl requirment to wear the wings 66 if you cant even do the quest until lvl 36516165? lol

And im not sure i understand why the MP ones are so much more expensive and wanted then the HP ones. Wouldnt you rather have higher hp so you'll survive more? Thats what i would want :/ i'll be pissed if the HP ones are white T_T

Maybe they're level 115 quest items, and they just lower the equip level so you can give them to your alt?

Or you can turn your high level character to a farmer for the quest and sell the wings for a whole lot of kron to lower level players?

im sure this will be a looooooooooooooooong quest but i dont think it will be like the pet quest with all the items you must collect because if its a lvl 66 item if you were lvl 66 how would you be able to farm anything?
i think it will involve many many xens and the evil blacksmith =.=
also i think there will be a new if not many new random drops added to the game such as feathers maybe? both black and white feathers maybe? o_O

well supposedly the quest wont be implemented into the game for a long time so if it does involve many xens then hopefully by then the prices will be lower

Ugh, this doesnt look promising. I was hoping the quest was going to be implemented rather soon. The wings look sooooo cool. :( I like the white ones btw. I think those would look better on my rouge.

I have no doubt Kobalts Cave and Museidon Library will be involved in this upcoming quest, or perhaps the yet-to-be-released maps which have been mentioned in quiet rumor?
In any case, having such a low level requirement just shows that farming will be a kay factor in acquiring the Wings.

66 USED to be a decently high level, but with the experience curve being raised for 1-40 along with Boosts, it's no trouble at all to get to. (Albeit, only people who have a drive to level will find it easy, whereas those that hang out in game only to chat/Vend usually find it quite cumbersome)

Hopefully it isn't a level 100+ quest, it doesn't make much sense, and almost no one will be able to get them. It'd make sense if they were long and hard to get, though.

I'm also hoping it's not like the mines quests where you practically have to be 40 levels higher than when the quest is assigned in order to complete it. >.<
