Playing Fiesta with a game controller?

I've played past mmorpgs with my trusty game controller, I use a program called JoyToKey.

But whenever I map the buttons, and go into Fiesta and press stuff on my controller, nothing happens...

Can someone help me out? I really wanna know.

Not sure what to tell you. I have a logitech game pad and it works just fine on this game. Maybe it's just the interface software you're useing. The interface I use with my Logitech dosn't always work with games downloaded from the net so maybe you just need to go into the controls menu and change the feild for the macro. Useually that works for me but sometimes I have to do a blind mapping in the interface and then load the game with it still up. I am not familier with your software or controler so I don't know if it will let you do that or not.

I have the same problem and use that program. The new patch they released stops outside mod programs I'm guessing in an attempt to stop ks bots

I just downloaded this game. I use and Ideazon Fang gamepad and I am also unable to play this game with the executable as a detection method. I'm going to try using a default map without an exe defined and see if that will work.

Yep. Running the software as a default map without an executable will allow keys to be mapped.

Or is this something special that you reallly know how to use?

I'm pretty sure it's legal to use, don't worry about that.

X-trap blocks third party programs and sometimes interferes with mice/keyboard/gamepad software if it's not standard.

I'm a gamer so for me I am better at using a controller then the keyboard. If it didn't have that option to begin with I wouldn't have started playing Fiesta. I instead of using joy to key used its default key map and it worked so I'm happy ^^
