Ok, I got the "error, virus" message too when I was trying to downlaod the client software. I turned off/disabled all MacAffee and other spyware protection softare that was running. Wella! no more download errors!
Then!!!.... got the dreaded C++ error when trying to run it, ignored that error, and clicked OK and let it download all the patches. Started up fine!
