When starting out as an Archer, training was easy for me. I got to level 12 in my first session no problem, but latley.. Being a HawkArcher is really hard, no one really parties with us, and leveling solo at level 24 is rather difficult >.>

Ive got a guild but no one is really ever on it much of any.

Does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Make a Cleric friend. Just start by talking, then later on ask him/her to come with you an level.

At level 24 you really should have no trouble. Just go to the 20-29 abyss, even if you burn a ton of stones, you get so much money from drops that you should be making an enormous profit despite the stone usage. Just go all out, use all your stones, then sell your drops, restone, and go back in. Don't worry about resting or using your house. If you make some friends, they'll eventually see how good of a leveler you are, and will then want to party you.

For me, it seems as if being an Archer means that I have to prove myself to the world. But once I do, boy - I can't keep them away from me.

Go look in the Class Arena forum, all the rants these days are about Clerics not doing their jobs properly. No one who is level 40+ has to worry about an Archer not knowing how to do their job. All the sucky Archers give up way before that.

You just have to learn to be aggressive. Do what you do, and people will eventually realize that teaming up with you is a really good idea.

Hell, I beat the heck out of mages and fighters my level in terms of killing speed.

Thanks you guys, when I do Kq's Im usually the one to lead and the one who does the leuring and stuff, but outside of em, its kinda hard to prove myself, but I will try. Thanks you guys.

Just don't let yourself get down.

Trust me, you'll see it as you level higher. You'll start outshining people by sheer scope of skill. People may tell you that your damage is less than a mage's, but I'm here to tell you different. Go camp out in Free Battle Zone 1/2, you'll see the difference in play style and skill.

Here's my last comment, when in a KQ, as an Archer I am always the player who pulls aggro. Not the Mage who is 5 levels above me, not the Cleric who is spam healing, Me: the "puny little Archer." Even without casting Poison/Bleed, I can pull aggro from any class. I've pulled aggro and seen Fighters Snear/Mock and the mob still won't stop attacking me.

Archers are many things, weak and underpowered is not one of them.

We're not diversified, therefore we're worse.

You don't need a party. Be strong and go solo.

Oh man, I was so let down...I thought this thread had something to do with Pink Floyd.
