They actually ARE..........they're better than mages at powerleveling, better than fighters are at killing (formula for success = poison bunch of mobs, keep running, poison next group, make a circle and pick up items, celebrate to content), and clerics at holding aggro.


Except for their lacks of skills, I don't see how this class is really challenged, besides all the BS they take >.>

Yay i see Zegaiism is setting into Bijou :D. But then you guys have CherryBomb who uses the same style she watched me use in tr back when... the very one i learned from Helvetica herself. All credit goes to Helv in the end for Bijous upsurge in archer morale.

Archers aren't all that common in bijou either, there's what 10 of us in 8x overall out of nearly 200 people :P. And the other lvl ranges between 6x and 8x are similiarly thinned out. Luckilly Bijou archers are common sights on the forums since we all post :D. (i didn't actually do a headcount, it's a rough estimate).

i sorta dissagree in . Yes archers are very powerfull but i wouldnt say that they 'powerlvl better then mages' mostly because once the mage hits 67 we have inferno and nova, which hits ALOT per second, so if it were to coem down to a mage and a archer seeing who kills the mob faster proabably the mage would win >.< . I dont mean to be rude towards archers :X its just my opionion. Archers are veyr powerfull there posion hits a ton and they have very usefull skills. But i would say that there best at EVERY single thing. ( im not saying this to offend anyone im jsut writing my opioin on the matter)

I can kite all I want and keep moving. Mages have to lure them and stay stationary.

One example is in Collasped Prizon. Once you reach a certain level, they are not easy to grab. An archer can cast fast AOEs and keep running to the next spot. Powerleveling low levels at certain maps is a difficulty for some classes. The power between an archer and mage is different, but with the right tools..an archer can powerlevel faster.

The Dot's cause them to follow us.

"We" archers r very good but I wouldnt consider us #1 Due to thats lack of skills we have:mad: and also, to Be a DD it seems we do average damage even with my 25spr rest str build^^

I do believe that #1 spot belongs to the clerics, because Clerics R "needed" in any succesful Kingdom Quest where a KQ still may be succesful without an archer nor mage .

But yes,we do Take ALOT of (s-word) nowadays Ill give u that.

in my kqs (golden hill- i'm level 30) i end up tanking because the fighters don't use taunt (or any variation). i can't power level at all =( but good quick kills.

yeah... teva's pretty devoid of our kind, sadly... but we can't be discouraged. we've just gotta stop all the "archer sux bad!" threads that nubs who play to lvl 3 and then judge us post... (i spelt that way for emphasis, btw... i dont acctually type like that o.o)

we simply want new skills because it can get pretty boring between lvl20-40... we dont get a single new skill till lvl 41. and that can really discourage new characters who wanna be archers.

I think we should get aim and eva party buffs. I mean every class pretty much has a buff for what they are good at. Clerics get one for a mage and fighter and themselves. Fighters get one. Archers don't get anything we are suppose to have. I just think it should be on a fair side lol.
