Poor GMs...

It never occurred to me how it might as well be a punishment to be a GM...
First off, they can't go anywhere without being surrounded by a cloud of people all screaming out random comments as to hope they get the chance to be friends with a GM by sucking up.
Then you must be getting these endless whispers from random people trying to make you buff them or give them items and such. And probably getting a raging river full of friend requests.
You can't go anywhere without getting a billion requests to remove a certain player or fix something instantly that would take a long while to do. (Like fixing a bug you have hardly any knowledge about.)
The life of a GM must take a lot of patience and tolerance. It must be all one can do to get a little peace and alone time.
I would also consider this for all of you who really wanna suck up to them: Stop following them asking them for things... Kaalan himself said he won't give you a buff if you ask and he can't give you any items unless you have succeeded an event. I can't imagine how they can even walk to Roumen or Elderine or a place like that. That's probably a reason you don't see them very often. You only hear from them in Notices. So for those of you who actually care about GMs, I'm sure you'll get the chance to see one eventually. There's no need to enclose one in a sea of people. Sure, they're actual celebrities on here, but it'd irritate me beyond belief if I got that everytime I walked into a public area. It's possible you might even see a GM more often if they got some space. Think about it. It must be torture to them.

They get paid to moderate the game not to buff you, give you items, get harrased, or be expected to do imposible things.

Pie is a GM? I didn't know that when i saw her. I thought people were swarming her cuz she was on a horse and looked like she was max lvl (or close)

And i don't know how many times i've reported URL spammers and requested the URLs to be swear words. EX: www.levelgod.com becomes www.********.com

I am sorry but I just can't convince myself to feel bad for the GMs.
If they didn't want the attention they wouldn't come into the game on flying animals and dressed like gods.
Yes, they are celebrities in the game but then I don't go all gaga for celebrities either.
They are just regular people to me.
I have only seen the GMs couple of times in the game and I don't go running after them or any of that and I certainly wouldn't ask any of them for anything special because that would be asking them to give me special attention over everyone else.
It would be nice to see them appear sometime in sand beach or places like that and just act like any other player, kill some mobs along with everyone else and talk to some players at random.
And no one would even notice unless they saw their different clothes and read their name and suddenly realize that they are talking to a GM.
Wouldn't that be a lot better than strutting around like a pompous god and being swarmed by players all saying "gimme! gimme! gimme!" "addme! addme! addme!"
Be more like that mysterious "unknown dark elf" in forest of myst. (I still haven't figured out what he is all about yet)
Yes they have their work cut out for them managing the game and some of the insane players that drive them crazy on a daily basis.
But as was pointed out earlier, that is their job.
And they love it even if they may complain about it sometimes.

Well it's true that they do dress like that. But it's just their normal armor. It's what they wear everywhere. Do you equip low level armor just to fit in? I've seen Dakkon multiple times just walking around town booting the gold sellers and just kinda hanging out. He never said a word or anything. But yet he was still crowded.
If you have a really cool looking sword or pet or house, you'd use it. Just because he wears godly armor means nothing...

lol I agree and have said *** much in shout chat. Leave the poor GMs alone people, when you spam asking them for stuff or whining about everything (they are GMs not developers btw) it only shows your immaturity and lack of respect for the people who actually do the things they do. Imagine without GMs... who would boot all the annoying bots (yes they come back with a new name 5 minutes later but at least they are trying), who would host the events? You think they have it so easy because they are paid? Honestly idk if Fiesta GMs are paid, there are some games where GMs arent, but either way would you want a bunch of people fallowing YOU around spamming you with friend/party/trade invites? Or people constantly asking you to give them things? I think not, so show a little respect people, and remember they are people too, and like any other person they can and will get annoyed after dealing with so much..... As for the "acting like a pompous god" does that mean anyone with high level gear or costumes (which I have heard will be given as rewards for some events and possibly in cash shop or whatever) is just "trying to get attention"? lmao I am willing to bet if someone gave you different armor or a costume you would wear it.... does that mean everyone should then hound you to death?

I would honestly avoid going into a populated area as a GM if at all possible with the way things are now. Yeah, it's a GM... and?
their job is to maintain the game. They will not give out free items and such of the sort. They give occasional buffs to respectable players who don't spam them with everything that have. That's it. I highly doubt they will encourage you to follow them everywhere by buffing you as you follow them.
The only time they usually want people around them is usually times like when Dakkon upens up his monster maker. But even then, it's only to help level up. Nothing more, nothing less. So it's fine if you want to kill things. But kill things your level that he makes. Otherwise, you are taking away the privilage given to lower level characters.

GM r also humans...they r also player like us just that they are paid to work as a GM (just like maple...these GM's work by playing and they have a salary)they are not admin nor mods or designers or anything...they can help by hearing what's happening but they cannot do anything to change it..developers r the one who can do the changes
