My name got changed.

Hi, my character name was po0pfac3, now it is PF001. Does anyone know why this is?

Your character name was inappropriate. So the a Staff changed your name. I believe that you email support@outspark.com to have it put as something else.

If your name is reported as inappropriate, and you are not online for someone to approach you about it, they will change your name without warning.

Although if in some cases they will outright ban someone if their name is a serious violation of the ToS.

I find it hard that people think that typing PLZ is better but I move on and live on with it.

Whether or not you find it offensive isn't the point. Someone, somewhere, somehow finds "poopface" to be offensive, if not to themselves, then possibly to someone else. Thus, your name gets tagged and it's changed.

Those things have nothing to do with each other, nor to my problem with the way my name went about being changed. I use this name in every game. I figured that since you can say poop in game, it would be fine to name my character that. Prove me wrong.

Regardless of what may be said in game, your name was changed by a GM or GL. I suggest you take the issue up with them if you wish, but as this is a private account matter it is not permissible on the forums.
