Hi. :p I'm not quitting. I'm just not around much like I used to be, and I haven't been able to catch most of my friends, so I figured a post would do instead. I'm not trying to whine or anything, lol, I just don't want to go from being super active to falling off the face of Fiesta earth without saying something.
Besides for just being bored of Fiesta, I've been busy with real life stuffs. I broke up with my real life husband last month, and handling all the upkeep on this house and big front and back yard alone has been a lot of work. I'm just starting training for my new job, and then I'll be working 40+ hours a week. I mean, yeah, I work at home and set my own hours and stuff, but still. I'm looking around at colleges to try to find somewhere to start at in the spring, I want to major in psych or social work, I'm not sure which one just yet. And I never really made friends since I moved to Florida last year, I never needed to since I had my husband... now, it's lonely, so I'm looking for some classes or clubs or whatever to join so I can meet new people. So yeah, that's been a lot.
As far as being bored on Fiesta is concerned... The cap raise sounded like so much fun, but I had more fun being capped at 79 for a month than I've had lately. At least at 79 there were things to do... lustered farm in ROA for stone making because I thought t4 stone production would come out, spam KKP getting mats for Xclu's scroll making and to try to get a blue, party in TR, party in FoS, party to work on my license... whatever. And when we got bored there, Xclu and I would head to our noobs and go rule robo kq (never failed one) or something.
Now... I dunno. Xclu's gotten super busy, and even when he's not... we're both bored on Fiesta. What's there to do, the same mindless repeat in BR a bazillion and a half times to get 50+ million exp. And what's there to do that for? I don't get a single new skill, just upgrades to the same old stuff. He got what he wanted, his t4 buff... awaken is pretty but not enough to make him want to push to 85. No greens to be able to wear our new armor. At least before, there was AOE restore and buff steal and stuff at 79. And new awesome statted pants for us to want to wear at 78. Stuff like that. If we had motivation, the mindless grinding would be fine, we'd have something to work towards.
Gordon rarely fills, and when it does, it's not like we even have a chance to get a legit blue. And perfect earrings are no better than MD perfects anyway, so there's no point to them, either. We don't have an abyss, which is expected because look how long it took for the 7x abyss to come out and even that has no mobs in it anyways. The dungeon is kinda pretty with all the colors and stuff but I'm just not motivated to grind there for long hours like I did in TR. My decomp is t4, my stones are t4, his scrolls are something high I dunno what, we're not really motivated to do comp and pots. What's there left to do? And what's left to motivate us? Nothing. Sure we could go on noobs but what... again? How many noobs am I gonna make? I've already got 2 mages (levels 84 and 63), 2 clerics (65 and 43), an archer (59), and a fighter (20-something). I'm not motivated to level any of them.
So yeah. I spend most of my time logged into Fiesta AFK, bringing it back up once in a while to see who's on and what's going on in guild chat, sometimes I'll chime in or talk to people. Who knows, maybe the time away will make Fiesta fun for me again. That's what happened when I quit back in the spring, I missed everyone and missed the game, came back and everything felt new and exciting again. I mean, this time I'm not quitting, I'll still log in and talk to people and play and stuff... but... maybe it'll have the same effect. *shrug*
