As I have never won any event I don't know much about the prizes are the prizes that are won permanent or time limited just curious as I don't expect I will ever win any.:D

Tomorrow's event that's this one 9/12 Wed 2:00pm (PDT): Forest of Shadows (http://www.outspark.com/fiesta/forums/showthread.php?t=9813) where, what and how do we find this gate. Is it just a normal gate, how do we destroy trees or are they just a kind of mob. What are the level requirements, it's no good being level 20 if the mobs are for a level 50 character. We need more info on some of these events.

i totally agree. what is PDT time anyways? if its pacific time ill be in class anyways...but i would really like more info on these events as well as id like to participate in some if possable...

To get more oinfo all you have to do is look at the events forum. It tells you whats going on, date, time and rewards and stuff.

And PDT is Pacific time. or GMT -8. Outspark is located in California so its PDT.

i did look at the thread, it didnt give great info as far as location. also, ive never heard pacific time called PDT, its usually PST (pacific standard time) anyways....

During Daylight Savings time it's -7 as GMT time doesn't observe that.

Also with some events like the forest of shadows I can see the GM's not posting where on the forums. You'd have twice the people before the event even starts.

true, but its annoying when i try to be online for the event because i want to participate, but i dont know where. like i figured the forest of shadows would be in the forest of mist...i was wrong, and i missed the event as well...i have yet to make an event since OB started. well, there was an event by roumen, but my char is to high of level to participate in killing lowly slimes....

Certain events are always held at the same location, like the Arena Event. But most of the events don't have locations for several reasons. With the Find the GM, Fiesta Tutor aka Quiz, and Treasure Hunting events giving specific locations would either compromise the spirit of the event. Or it is occuring in numerous RANDOM locations. So a previous poster has a good point, read the forums as they will say what maps these events COULD happen.

From a plot perspective several of these events will be tied to the world of Isya and the problems in it. The Forest os Shadows, and Dark Forces events are supposed to be surprise attacks. Not much of a surprise if you know where it is going to happen now is it?

true enough, i was just looking in the wrong area i guess, didnt figure that the forest of shadows would show up in elderine, so i was grinding by the entrance to elderine in FoM. my bad though ^_^ . ant its totally understandable for find the GM and other events like that.

I can already guess how that event is gonna look like though. Shouldn't be to hard to figure it, IMO. Oh, and about prizes, dark forces event uses treasure chests as prizes. The arena event has prizes as follows:

1. a mover and something else i guess.
2. a snazzy outfit and maybe something else.
3. a house or something else... You get the deal.

You can't choose, though. So hope they made a mover for the event. And hope you win by then, since those movers move so much faster. Also the prizes won there are a month long timed. They are premium items, though.
