No one knows for sure , I've asked all the GM's , no SURE answer on this , lets get some feedback people!
PS: (Equipment with stats wont show up in Free Stat) , I.O: STR on ring= Effects damage obviously but doesn't show the +dmg on Free stat , etc etc)

If it gives +1 STR, then it goes into your normal stats. Not Free stats.

I think STR was a typo, the title was referring to SPR.
According to what I was told, then to my personal experience. SPR does 2 things:
1) Increases your max SP (SP pool used for spells and skills, always good to have more)
2) Increases the odds of critical attacks (obvious using spells and skills, no apparent difference so far for normal attacks)
