Cash shop

just wondering does the cash shop have limited slots for items to be placed.. or some other reason..

why not just place whatever items that have been released into the shop ?

like the asian items which have been removed, but many people want to wear them but cant buy them ..

any comments ? and probably a favorable response to clear my doubts :confused:

Well, let me answer it like this. Would it be cool to sell winter gear in summer? Would you like to buy Earth Day stuff on Halloween? Yes, you would, but that's not the point. There's specific times when certain costumes are available. Unlike last time when Dakkon "spilled his coffee on the keyboard" and released all the items at once for 3 days.

its a marketing ploy; if the valentines day outfit was readily available all the time, people probably wouldn't bother buying new outfits such as the school uniform or winter boop. outspark waits for the demand for certain old outfits to build up and then releases them for a short time which causes players to hoard a 2-5 packs or outfits because players wouldnt know when they would be available again.

It's not a ploy, it's an issue of supply vs demand.

As the seasons and events change, so do the items in the CS. There are always certain items that will always be there (boost packs, etc.) but the seasonal items come and go...

i dont think it has anything to do with supply and demand at all. There is no limit to the amount of Earth day packs or Valentine day packs that can be "spawned" or produced by the cashshop. Thus there is an infinite supply, and in theory there would be close to absolutely zero demand if the market was left to run freely without restrictions.

For example, I would not hoard chinese wigs if they were not only released for only 1-2 months or so. If they were permanently in the CS shop, i would not have bought 3-4 at one time and then have them removed from the CS shop only to find something sexy like the black swimsuit for sale :P

All the costumes out at once eh? Hmm... *Runs out and buys a whole case of Starbucks Triple strength Mocha Latte Coffees and ships them out to Outspark addressed to all the GMs* <.< >.> I figured with all the probable overtime the GMs have to do fixing the buildup of issues in Fiesta, one of them is bound to spill coffee again as they overdose on caffinee. *Clicks on cash shop and refresh, refresh, refresh, lol.*
But seriously, I think they released certain costumes that is associated to a certain holiday ie, Japanese Packs during Summer Festival Month celebrated usually in Japan. The limited set time the sets are available in the cash shop did make me purchase a few extra sets for the next 10 months when they are not available for sale ^^.

you know.. i'm currently on a hiatus from fiesta.. always was thinking.. i'll come back when my favorite chinese wig and hanbok set appears again..

yeh, but i my country only have one season all year round.. summer ;)
