help needed on scavenging items from herbs and flowers

what does that bar do

the one in orange

i tried everything and most of the time it dont do anything

is there a button you press to make it stop on that bar

if so what button

harvesting gets me nothing most of the time


please help

That bar is to quicken your gathering speed. Looks like its not bugged anymore.
When the line is about to reach the orange line click the orange line, that is to quicken your gathering.

i have tyried to gather around 75 or so flowers and cant get a happy seed that is why i ask
