"Attention: Thanking Thread"

Recently, it seems all we see today on the Apoline threads and servers is negativity and some ill-will. The purpose of this thread isn't to take away from Versiee's venting thread but to to show that in Apoline, there is always optimism and kind, kindred people who continue to play this game. Please don't use this thread for any "sarcastic" thanking or thanking with negative intent. This thread is to help foster some positive thinking and shows the joys in our lives that we are thankful for. Maybe in turn, this will help you see the positive aspects of life!

I'll start:

I'm thankful for my family and my friends who continue to believe in me despite my faults as a person and empowering me to do always do better. I love them all and I love life!

Lets see...

I'm thankful for all my friends on this game and their support through the hard times I've gone through. I won't name them because there are many and I do not want to leave any out.

I am thankful for all the hard work the GM's put into making this game as fair and enjoyable as they can.

I am thankful for the CL's and all the other people that watch over the forums for keeping it clean and respectable, and also being quick to react when flaming posts are created before they get too out of hand. :)

I am thankful of my parents helping me overcome my addiction to controlled substances and for being there for me when I hit rock bottom.

Thats all I can think of off the top of my head, I'll be back later after work to post some more.

Oh and BTW WisedMan; I'm glad you created this thread, it's about time something positive came onto the forums lol. +Rep for ya :D

My list is huge, for I have a lot of people to thank.. but to sum it all up.. lets see..

First off just wanted to thank ALL of you for being wonderful and great friends. Some may have left (which shall never be forgotten), and to those whom have remained I give you all my biggest thanks. I appreciate each and everyone of you and for all that you've done and given me. I can't thank you all enough for how grateful I've been just knowing any of you.. it's been nothing but the greatest pleasure to have spent all these months with all of you. ;D As I look back in time, man oh man.. where do I even start..? Heehe, I had the greatest time despite the drama. ;D

Thanks for always being helpful whenever problems surfaced. It's hard managing the game itself and having to deal with silly players like us. But through it all, you've never stopped trying to provide us with the best gaming experience there is. A lotta people call you out when something's up and you always in return try to do whatever you can to give us the answers we frequently ask about. ;D Man you guys rock !

Rawr where do I start..? You've always been there since the start. Always been that one person who pushed me to keep going when everything in game seemed too tough. Not only a great GM, but a wonderful friend as well. Thank you for always being there to listen to me blab about everything in game. Haha (man oh man you must be sick and tired of it by now ;P). You always gave me your moral support and always made sure that I was kept "sane" rather than being "insane". lol.

My family and closest friends.. all of you are THE BEST! ;D mwahah I've enjoyed every moment spent with all of you. From all the crazy guild chats to the raiding of Helga to having each others backs through thick or thin. No other guild's can EVER compare to how close I've gotten to any of you.
Supremacy - We were never the strongest guild out there, we actually never tried to be.. but we had something that kept all of us together and that was "family". I've never experienced the happiness I had throughout any of the guild's ive been part of till Supremacy was born. Yes, sad to say how our guild died.. but we've been reborn under the same roof but as a different name. _Valkyrie_, hated by most, dissed on by others.. but simply to me they're MY FAMILY. Through all the madness and craziness each and everyone of us has gone through, I'd like to say it's truly a pleasure to be your Guild Master. You're all wonderful people, who I've learned to respect and admire. All of you are great and I can't stress that enough. This thread is a great idea, it will help boost morale, which I see more and more often in Fiesta, needs to happen ^^ too many people get so worked up over tiny issues, it's nice to sit back from it all, and say 'despite all of that, there are these good parts'.

All of our GM's, GL's, CL's, and CSR's do a wonderful job :) And all of the friends I've made here are some of the closest I've ever had ^^ Thanks, Outspark, for a great game!

leeching in a game where there are no rules about it (it's just frowned upon), and abusing a function of the forums where there are rules about it are two different things ~ and naming that user is blacklisting, which is also against forum rules. If you have evidence of continued abuse, let's talk via PM. I loathe leechers as well and I have been working on a means to help battle the issue, but it setuill needs to be reported properly.

I would like to thank my friend for hooking me up with a decent job when I was unemployed. It sucks being at home all day with nothing really to do. I'm glad I have friends that will support me when I need it.

I also would like to thank Matt Cassel for doing a good job so far taking over for Tom Brady as the New England Patriots' starting quarterback. I'm serious lol, we beat Brett Favre and the Jets who were favored largely to crush the Patriots. If you have not noticed, I'm a huge sports fan... I watch every American athletic sport practically.

There was a point in Fiesta where there just was no point in logging in ... so I moved to another game but still kept in contact via forums with this game.

Well, here we go, this might be a little bit long of 'thank you'.
First of all i thank you for all the guilds that i've being in, i've learned a lot from you guys. i'll list all the guilds in order;
1. Hatchet_Warriors - (got kicked 2 weeks later cause i was a lvl 20 nubbie ;D - im still mad at you for kicking me jaci xDD)

2. Serenity - I joined this guild at around lvl 32 in MT, this guild was very friendly, and soon i got to know everyone there. Then i got promoted to the main guild Neutrality for being well active in guild (serenity was kinda quiet)

3. Neutrality - This was my home guild <33, i was there for roughly 4 months stress-free and just pure fun, all the guildies are very nice and friendly - always there for each other when someone needs help. yes, these members are Dezzy, Minesa, brock, Kierall, Horonia, Reesies, Blitzkrieg(sry, your name kinda hard to spell), Alacat, Lulong...there's more but i cant think off my head right this moment.

4. Dor - oh this was the guild where i met my sweet-dear Takimi <3333. i joined that guild around April, at lvl 56. Thanks Martos and 2 of your brothers for letting me join you guys. I had a lot of fun there, i remember those war with low level guild ^.^ - pwnz. At that time Takimi was a bit bossy LOL, always got something to complain but on the bright side, it brought up the long, interesting conversations <3 you Taki<33

5. RestLess - This was F_I_R_E_B_A_L_L's guild, i joined to help him develop and make the guild stronger, wasn't there for long but i sure made a lot of friends. I was one of the admin there. One day Takimi and i fell in love and i invited her to the guild, we liked the guild but at some point it fell apart T.T (where are you fire?)

6. Revenge - This guild is my 2nd home, Hi Alex, Dess, black, and many other guildies =] i was there from lvl 73 - 82 (i had a lot of funs there, and lots of wars). You guys are awesome, we're like a big family and we never get into argument or anything like that. Keep it up guys, the guild is getting a lot stronger than when i first joined :3

7. Supremacy - first of all - THIS GUILD IS CRAZY XDDDDD - ok back to the topic, versiie you go girl, never run out of things to discuss like i do >_<;; you kept the guild very active and always some interesting conversation going on when i log in, it was fun with you guys. *im not going to the negative side since this is a happy thread* w00t to you guys

8. Tsuriai (did i spell it correctly this time, Taki?) - not much about this guild, its very quiet but sometimes i go there to play on one of my very "interesting" character ^^' only Taki knows

9. Jokerism - This is my current guild, my main guild and its my home with Taki. Its delicated to CSR_Joker but still...i love the guildies there, they always come up with something intersting, asking me to help with quests and i like that because its keeping my from getting bored to death when Taki's in school i've been in this guild for about 3 weeks i think - but ya thanks and im glad for all those who stayed in the guild <33 you guys

Now here comes the "Thank you for being there for me, my friends"
-There are so many, but i'll start with Xanthyia, one of the very few friends of mine from the 3x still remain in the game, hehe girl, those good ole times back in VT in our lvl 3x when you're there to keep me from falling asleep killing hob and imp. And we know what happened there one day xD but let's not go there. Your a great friend, a great CL, you're very helpful to the Fiesta community.

I personally view being apart of these guilds a bigger honor than being a part of the Fiesta Magazine.

Celestial Thank you for being such a great friend to me. You've definitely been one of my best friends in-game. I had never thought that I could be friends with someone like I am with you, as well as many others. Indeed you kept your promise made that day in fos, and even though you got to the level you are now, you didn't change. Thank you for always being there for me, supporting me and even change my mind when i wanted to quit. I know we didn't partied a lot, but still you were there, on whisper or guild chat, to give advice or make my day better. Thank you for everything, especially for the kindness you have shown, not only to me, but to all the apolinians you met. Your decision to quit sadden me more than you think, but i hope it's for the best. I miss you bunso and I <3333333333 you forever.

Tairee - nub nub, i know you don't check the forums, but still you're in this post cause you are a very dear person to me, being one of the funniest people i've met around Apleline. EmeraldDream/SatanLover - Emmers, i met you while you were on your cleric, i've grown to know you as a good enchanter as well, but most important as a wonderfull friend. Taki, Icchi, Ako, Knivy - I've met you though forums and i'm really glad i did. With some of you i didn't party much or didnt talk a lot, but in the moments we did those things, i realised you're not only fun persons, but also mature. Even though some of you are very young, i do respect you especially for the fact that you always acted more mature than others at your age, never shown ur childish side in inappropiate moments. Taki, we all make mistakes, the most important is to realise when we make them. And no matter what others say, i trust that you know what's good for you; trends change, so those people won't be "fashionable" over the years, in college or rl. Icchi, you are a great story-teller xD a crazy and funny one i might add. I miss you and i will poke you forever <3. Ako, lol, indeed we run into each other a lot in game :D As far as i could could see, you're more in the "serious" cathegory, but i always love your anwers and the fact you manage words so nicely :) Knivy, you invaded my head and i still couldn't get you out of there. Alexnew - well even though we took different paths ig, i still remember our fun mments as nubs. Back then i didn't know many people, didn't have friends in game, but you. We did realise our dream, to have a guild together. Those were the moments i treasure most when it comes to my "ig youth".

I want to thank all my great friends in the game. And I mean really thank with all that I have. These past few days in-game have been a bit stressful. I've been really out of it. I lost a few friends due to some drama, and I had a friend that I've known almost since I made Ako pretty much stab me in the back, along with a few other people =/. I feel utterly betrayed by this person. However, it is my true friends in-game that have put a smile on my face through this, that have brought me up to a good mood when I was in a bad one, and that have kept me sticking around with Fiesta. I couldn't ask for better friends in a game. You all truely mean a lot to me, and I'm glad that I've gotten the absolute pleasure of knowing you all and having you all as my friends. As for Blood Stain Child, they are pretty easy to find on YouTube. Their most recent single is entitled "Freedom." They are from Japan. Thank you for the most amazing co-worker of mine who really gave me a slice of life and how reality is in the real world. This amazing lady is an emerging author, possesses five degrees (and yes I have seen them!) and still is working hard for her children. I thank my laptop, for without it, I wouldn't be here right now.

I'd also like to thank my cooling stand that keeps my laptop in-line by forcing it to stay on and not overheat.

Well first person to come to mind to thank.. my veterinarian.
Dr Christiansen has been so wonderful to all my cats, and has helped me through the good and the bad. When I told him 3 cats needed the same shot, he let me bring in all three at once. When 1 was hurt and needed emergency vet care, he let em right on in. When my bros older kitty got ringworm and had t be bathed so much, he let me call in so many times to make sure I was doing it right. When my brothers kitten was having a seizure for over 24 hours, almost dying several times, and I brought her in, instead of him checking her over slowly first like some other vets, he immediately gave her some Valium, and waited til she was done seizing to check her over first, the whole time while waiting he spent talking to me, reassuring me he would do everything he could for her. Even though I was confused and had to call my mother (cus the rule with me is: its her money, she decides what its spent on), he solved the problem, prescribing Valium pills. He even let me call him over and over when the seizures returned and I didnt know what to do (give her another pill and possibly shot-out her liver? or wait for the previous pill to kick in?). The entire time he was very patient and helpful, and didnt mind at all me calling them after office hours to get advice on the medicine times. He literally saved her life. I thank him so much each time I see her walking around or playing happily, now seizure free.

Second other-person I wanna thank.. my old friends Teresa and Soma. Teresa practically introduced me to Anime, and Soma introduced me to more anime and RPGs.

Oh and last thanks for now, kinda like Ako's I thank all the nubs in Halo 3 who let me and my pro-team pwn their rears all last summer-end and fall, and let me go from recruit to capitan?major?3rd?4th? oh so fast. And ty to them again for making me ROFLMAO when the match ended 50 to 14 (with us winning of course) and them screaming classic "YOU HAX NOOBS!" threats.

I'd like to thank my tv for being awesome and letting me watch the tv shows I actually watch, watch the movies that are total awesomeness, and play the uber cool and sometimes violent video games I play :3. *Hugs for my tv*
