I have heard it so many times that INT does nothing for any class except Mages.

Well I decided to experiment around a little with INT on my 6x Cleric using some INT rings and INT does seem to increase the damage effect of Trip.
So is Trip actually a magic attack?
It seems like it is but I can't tell for sure if it is actually doing magic damage to the target.
Trip is kind of a weird skill anyway because for a skill that would appear to be relatively weak based on the stats compared to Bash, Trip can actually do a lot of damage in a single hit.
I am pretty well convinced now that Trip is actually a magic attack.

I don't know very much about higher level Fighters or Archers but maybe they have similar skills that are assumed to be non magic attacks but actually are.

INT does increase on every character with every level so maybe it is not as useless a some people claim.

Opinions?

The effects of int:

Headache
Knee and joint pain
occasional spotting
Chance of heart attack or stroke
Some users obtain cancer and rarely AIDS
Rash
Hemorrhoids
Small Pox
Chicken Pox
Some users randomly "Explode" Once taken.

Those are the reported effects of int.

Hummmm,,,,
That is definitely not the kind of response that I was anticipating.

I haven't try about INT for Trip yet. For the matter of fact, I think you may be right because there is no way a high level skill do less damage than a low level skill, mean Trip v.s Bash. Bash is purely base on STR. Then I think, INT may work for Trip. I would try tonight to see what happen.

Wow, I guess we should all try to be a little nicer to mages from now on. They have it rough. :p

Actually there is ONE other class who slighty benefits from INT-------FIGHTERS

Bet you didn't know Vampiric Strike was INT based? It IS :D

Yeah, it's still pretty worthless to them though ;P

I agree with Vamp Strike. slightly o.o

Ive dueled alot of fighters and it saved me and ive won, barely..

But they always think I pot or something.

But on topic, I thought the same, do skills use INT? Has anyone relaly done a full experiment on this? And for Vamp strike, how does it help?
