worst bug for mages

I was wondering around in Echo Cave when I tried to attack Rookie Skeleton w/ magic.=, and nothing happened. my SP wasnt drained, the visual of the attack didn't connect, and My spell didn't even show a cooling time. So then I hit the skeleton, and it worked, but then i tried to do magic and it didn't. Anyone else not being able to use magic in Echo Cave?

That worked fine for my mage.
Maybe a lag issue or client issue?
Try right after you started the client, see it that still happens?
